BlackBerry Storm 2 (9520) SKU’s start showing up in Vodafone Inventory!

All of you out there who are waiting to get your hands on the upcoming BlackBerry Storm 2, this news is for you. Reports are coming in that multiple accessory sku’s have been found in Vodafone UK’s inventory system. Looks like so far Vodafone has charging docks, and a three pack of skins to show off in their inventory system. Hopefully the actual device will show up in there next. No word on an official announcement or release date yet, but its rumored to be launching sometime around October. Stay tuned!

BlackBerry Storm 2 spotted in Vodafone Germany Inventory…

Guess what’s spotted in Vodafone Germany’s inventory? The heavily rumored, don’t post a picture of RIM will kill you… BlackBerry Storm 2. This hopefully means that the Storm 2 is starting to enter inventory databases around the World. The Storm 2 will for sure be the next generation in the Storm family sporting RIM’s upgraded Surepress touch screen and Wi-Fi. No one seems to have any word on pricing or exact launch details yet, but its expected to land on many networks across the World this October-November.

OS Alert: BlackBerry Storm 9500 OS 4.7.0.148 Officially Released!

Vodafone Australia & Fiji have just released a new official OS for the Storm 9500. The version is 4.7.0.148 which is the same version released by Verizon last week for their 9530. This OS (.148) is said to be one of the most stable on the market and possibly the late in the builds that RIM will be releasing. Next up OS 5.0! Anyway if you would like to install this update on your Storm 9500 (GSM only) download the file at the link below and remove the vendor.xml file. Enjoy!

OS Alert: BlackBerry Storm 9500 OS 4.7.0.141 Released!

Vodafone UK has just released OS 4.7.0.141 officially for the GSM BlackBerry Storm 9500. So if you have a Storm 9500 you can install this OS on your device. Apparently it seems to be working great so far! The good news is this is an official OS update directly from RIM. If you would like details on how to install an OS please click here. It’s Sunday and what better to do than upgrade your BlackBerry Storm 9500 OS! A new version OS 4.7.0.109 has been leaked onto the interent. This version is ONLY for the European model (BlackBerry Storm 9500). Please keep in mind this isn’t an official OS it has simply been leaked by someone at RIM or partners. It’s not recommended that you install it unless you have previous experience with beta OS. If you are feeling adventurous feel free to install this OS and test it out.+

Vodafone BlackBerry Storm OS 4.7.0.78 now available!

Good news for Vodafone BlackBerry Storm owners! Vodafone has officially released their first OS upgrade for the Storm. The new version OS 4.7.0.78 is a huge improvement over the version that shipped with the device. To download the update simply head over to Vodafone’s site and install the software. Next up should be Verizon’s OS update possibly later on today?

Verizon’s BlackBerry Storm 9530 is here!

It’s finally here! Verizon and RIM introduced the BlackBerry Storm 9530 World Edition to consumers today. If you visit your local Verizon store starting today you should be able to pick a Storm up for $199 with a two year term. Visit verizonwireless.com for details.

So thats now both Vodafone and Verizon with their Storm launched. Next up should be Bell and TELUS in Canada. The latest rumors are still pointing at a same day launch for December 8th, but who knows what tricks they’ll pull out at the last minute. Stay tuned.

Vodafone’s BlackBerry Storm launches Nov. 14th

Great news for those in the UK. Vodafone will be launching the BlackBerry Storm on November 14th! The good news is several UK sites have posted Storm video views (see here). Now if we could any get an official release date for Verizon, TELUS and Bell…
