Al Sacco over at CIO, scored an interesting picture from T-Mobile today. Looks like T-Mobile decided to “accidentally” share the first press shots of the BlackBerry Bold 9700, aka Onyx. This hot new addition to the Bold family is set to feature a hotter QWERTY keyboard, trackpad navigation, and an overall compact more design. It seems that Al Sacco did not receive an official NDA from T-Mobile before sharing the picture. Lucky! Anyway check out the blurp from the T-Mo PR rep:

Also the phone comes preloaded with mobile applications from BlackBerry App World, including Amazon MP3 store for quick and easy music downloads and TeleNav GPS Navigator for turn-by-turn directions.”

Unfortunately no actual release was shared, however its expected to launch late this year. Pricing and the official release shall come soon… Stay tuned.

Right on time, T-Mobile has launched the new BlackBerry Curve 8520, which was announced early last week. Starting today T-Mobile is offering the Curve 8520 in both black and frost for $129.99 with two year contract. This is the first new BlackBerry to feature RIM’s optical trackpad and dedicated music keys on top of the device. If you keep your eyes open as well you might see this model popping up at your local Wal-Mart store for the great price of $48.88 with contract. For now head over to t-mobile.com for more details.

Almost right on cue, the newly announced BlackBerry Curve 8520 (formally code-named Gemini) is now listed on T-Mobile USA’s website as coming soon. The latest whispers online indicate an August 5th launch for the new Curve. It’s expected this entry level BlackBerry will be hitting T-Mobile stores, as well Wal-Mart locations for an amazing entry level price of around $50 with contract. So who’s going to pick up the new Curve?

Hmm look what has been caught in the wild! It’s an unreleased T-Mobile branded BlackBerry Curve 8520. The 8520 is also known as the Gemini and has been spotted many times before. From what we know the 8520 will be part of the low end BlackBerry family, possibly to replace the existing 8300 series. It’s been rumored to be coming on to T-Mobile in the way of Prepaid service, however nothing has been confirmed yet. This may be a low end berry but it does like slick. It features a 2.0 megapixel camera with no flash and only GSM with EDGE data, Wi-Fi, dedicated music keys on the top and RIM’s new Optical Trackpad for navigation. Not ETA on when the device will launch, although it’s thought to be launching  within the next few months.

Boy Genius got some hands-on time with the BlackBerry Curve 8520 (previously code-named Gemini). As you may know the 8520 is set to RIM’s new low cost addition to the Curve family featuring an all new optical trackball and OS 4.6 maybe 5.0 by launch. Anyway Boy Genius has confirmed that T-Mobile USA will in fact be launching the 8520 in Q4 of this year. They also said they wouldn’t be surprised if the 8520 was sold as a “BlackBerry In A Box” solution. Either way the hot new part of the Curve family will see T-Mobile soon enough.

My only question: Why is it everytime this device gets reviewed they get two of them?

It appears that T-Mobile’s BlackBerry Curve 8900 is getting even closer! T-Mobile will be launching it very soon, and now we have leaked pricing information. The Curve 8900 (previously called Javelin) will run you about $149.99 with two year term, $249.99 with one year or $649.99 without contract. Apparently the pricing was double confirmed when tipsters checked out Best Buy’s inventory system which shows the no contract price at $649.99 as well. So T-Mobile clients get ready! New reports from BGR is suggesting that some T-Mobile USA stores now have the BlackBerry Curve 8900 instock already. If you remember it was shown that T-Mobile will be launching the device come Febuary 11th. This is great news for those waiting to get their hands on the new Curve, however don’t get too excited. T-Mobile reps are NOT ALLOWED to sell the devices before an official launch. So until we get more info stay tuned.

Looks like T-Mobile USA is getting all set for their big BlackBerry Curve 8900 launch. The official launch will take place on February 11, 2009. This document which a tipster sent the folks over at BerryReporter looks to be official. Only thing its lacking is pricing. Stay tuned for that when it becomes available…

The BlackBerry Pearl Flip has been available from T-Mobile USA for just a week or two, and now the red colored model is joining the black one. You can pick up either for only $149 with two year term after rebates. Grab all the details from T-Mobile.com or your local T-Mobile store.

Sure we have seen Kevin’s Pearl 8220 unboxing before but The Boy Genius managed to take it on step closer. He has unboxed a T-Mobile branded Pearl Flip 8220. He also goes on to say that he isn’t teribally impressed with the overall quality of the product “As far as the device goes, we’re pretty disappointed. Not so much because it’s absolutely terrible, just because the Pearl Flip feels like a prototype and not a final build. Even though this is a retail unit.”.
