TELUS BlackBerry Storm launching THIS WEEK!

We just received word that TELUS will be launching their BlackBerry Storm this week. After the fun party they held last night in Toronto it seems they are finally ready to launch it. Official pricing will remain at $249.99 with three year term or $599 outright. Apparently Bell will be launching their Storm on Monday so it looks like Canadians will be getting an early Christmas present after all.

Update: Apparently only select stores are receiving the first round of stock. Shipments include the devices and selection of skins, chargers and replacement stuff like batteries and doors. Looks like they should be in store on Friday!

Stay tuned for the latest BlackBerry Storm news.

Not only that but included in the box is a carrying pouch (no clip), premium stereo headphones (just like the bold!!) and the usual stuff (battery, charger, usb, etc). Stay tuned for more details…

P.S. I’m really sorry to those who are getting sick of all the Storm news. It’ll cut back soon.

TELUS throws Storm launch party in Toronto!

TELUS defiantly knows how to party. Last night they held a party where most of the large BlackBerry blogs got some sweet hands-on time with the Storm. Unfortunately we aren’t in Toronto are we would have got in on this. It seems that all TELUS demos were runnig OS 4.5.0.76 and it worked great. It seems that a launch from TELUS pretty much immendant their stock may be a little short. Seems it will launch before the holiday season, but tons of stock will arrive shortly after Christmas.

Bell releases Storm OS 4.7.0.76? but forgets to release device.

I know your probably thinking how and why? but apparently earlier today RIM released Bell’s version of OS 4.7.0.76 for the BlackBerry Storm by accident. This is great news thought as the OS version is higher than Verizon’s current OS. At the time of this post it seems that RIM has removed the link but we’ve got pics any with any luck an official release is just around the corner…

The Missing Sync, which is known for their OS X and BlackBerry syncing has just released a new version to support the BlackBerry Bold and Storm. The software itself costs $39.95 USD and is available in volume purchases as well.
