Every wonder where you can find all the BlackBerry approved applications and services for your device? A site that RIM has called BlackBerry Lifestyle lists a ton of applications that are built for BlackBerry. You can find everything from Facebook to Bank of America to XM Radio. Check out the entire list at at BlackBerry.com. It seems that the list is only computer friendly and doesn’t load well on your BlackBerry.
I wonder if RIM will integrate this into some sort of Application store?

With Back to School starting in full force, a new product has been launched for BlackBerry which targets students using BlackBerry smartphones. The application called Cram allows students to create, import and share any material they need to learn for an upcoming test or exam so they study it anywhere.

This just means the Bold is getting one step closer. Vodafone has posted a link of their website for RIM’s BlackBerry Desktop 4.6 download. The new Desktop Manager 4.6 will work with any BlackBerry smartphone. You can download it at Vodafone’s site here.
Apparently RIM has confirmed that the official roll out for OS 4.5 will start today. This news comes directly from a RIM spokesperson at a BlackBerry seminar. He says that OS 4.5 will start to release on all carriers World Wide within the next two weeks or so. This is truly great news for anyone who is still using a buggy beta version of 4.5, such as myself.

Thats right folks! BlackBerry Media Sync is now available for download. This means anyone with a BlackBerry Pearl, Curve, 8800 or Bold can sync their iTunes library with their BlackBerry via iTunes software. Unfortunately for now the software is only available for Windows and not OS X. You can sync your library with DRM-free songs, however songs purchase with DRM won’t be transferable.
Vlingo has introduced a voice navigation software for your BlackBerry, which allows you to press a side convenience key and speak a command such as send a text or email without typing a single letter. The best part is the software is completely free! You can download it on your BlackBerry by pointing your browser to m.vlingo.com or visit their website on your PC.
“Just a few months ago, vlingo was selected to voice-enable Yahoo! oneSearchTM, which showed the world just how quick and easy mobile Web search can be with the power of voice,” said Dave Grannan, CEO of vlingo. “Vlingo takes this technology beyond Web search into everyday applications that are now instantly more usable and easier to find because you only need to think about one button and a few spoken words. Vlingo believes that we can immediately improve the way every person interacts with their wireless device and the BlackBerry platform is the perfect place to start our aggressive expansion strategy here in the U.S. and abroad.”
