<p>Looks like you don&#8217;t have to wait for the BlackBerry Curve 8900 (Javelin) to run safe mode on your BlackBerry. Apparently the newer version of OS 4.6 for the BlackBerry Bold will be featuring safe mode. What this means is if your running a third party application and it causes your BlackBerry OS to die you can boot it into safe mode and fix it (think Windows).</p>
<p>To activate safe mode:</p>
<p>1. Remove and reinsert the battery<br />
2. Wait for the red LED light to go out when that happens HOLD the escape (back) key.<br />
3. When dialog appears asking you to enter safe mode select yes</p>
