BlackBerry KickStart getting close?

We've received a tip that the BlackBerry KickStart is getting real close to production. Apparently the KickStart will be finished production in about 2-3 weeks. At launch the KickStart will only be seen on T-Mobile and Rogers Wireless in North America.

This is great news for everyone who has been waiting for the first flip Berry!

Is Apple mad at Rogers for screwing Canadians?

OH SNAP! Rumor has it that Apple is mad at Rogers for screwing Canadian's with high data prices. You may have heard of RuniediPhone.com, which is gathering signatures for a petition againest Rogers and the iPhone 3G pricing in Canada. Currently the petition is nearing 50,000 signatures! If you haven't signed it please head over to the site and SIGN IT. The other rumor in this story is that Apple has diverted a large amount of the iPhone stock heading for Canada to the UK because of this negative backlash.

THREE Rogers branded Bold’s in one place

This could be a really good sign for Rogers customers. CrackBerry was sent a picture of THREE BlackBerry Bold's in one place at one time. All three units are Rogers branded so hopefully this means a launch is coming real soon. So far we have heard June 25 or July15th.

Rogers revamps BlackBerry data plans (iPhone data plans too)

Rogers is finally going to jump on the competitive bandwagon for data rates in Canada. Rogers is set to release new data rates including 300MB for $30 a month (BIS only).Even though other networks in Canada have $30 for unlimited, we'll take 300MB from Rogers for now. But what is unfair is when Rogers releases the iPhone next month data plans start at $30 a month for Unlimited data and visual voicemail. Skip on over to see the rest of the slides.

BlackBerry 8820 launches on Rogers

Rogers this morning released the Wi-Fi equipped BlackBerry 8820. This is the second BlackBerry packing Wi-Fi to go along with their UMA service. The BlackBerry 8820 is be rocking a crazy price tag of $399 with three year term or $499 outright. The 8820 will be available in most stores and online early next week.

When is Rogers releasing the Bold? June or July?

First we heard it was July 15th now good ole faithful BGR is reporting Rogers will launch it on June 25th. We are waiting for official confirmation as to when Rogers Wireless will launch the BlackBerry Bold. It almost seems a little too early if Rogers releases the Bold next week or so. Rogers to launch BlackBerry Bold on July 15th?

Word on the street is that Rogers Wireless will be launching their BlackBerry Bold on July 15th. This will come just four days after Rogers will release Apple's iPhone. No pricing is still not known for the BlackBerry Bold yet but you can expect it'll cost a little more than the iPhone. Stay tuned for more details when they arrive.

Rogers launched a Pink Curve 8310? $199 w/ 3YR

Somehow we missed this… Apparently Rogers Wireless here in Canada has launched a Pink colored BlackBerry Curve 8310. The new pink Curve will run you $199.99 with a three year term. Now that Rogers has their Pink BlackBerry how long before the others?

Rogers launches UMA BlackBerry Pearl 8120


Rogers Wireless this morning announced the launch of the UMA (Wi-Fi) packing BlackBerry Pearl. The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 features UMA support for Rogers Home Calling Zone, a UMA based service which allows Rogers customers to make unlimited local calls while in their Wi-Fi area.

The Pearl 8120 features a 2.0 megapixel camera, external microSD memory card slot and of course the Pearl 2's newer design. The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 is available for $249.99 with three year contract and a $15 subscription to Rogers Home Calling Zone. One quick thing we should note Rogers says this model comes with Documents to Go on it… Skip over for the full press release.

UPDATE: Looks like the price has been changed to $149.99 with three year contract. A reader messaged me and said it looks like the Rogers 8120 might be the first BlackBerry to ship with OS 4.5 as well.
