The video CHYM made is a video about “It’s time to say Thank You to RIM” and all that they’ve done for the Waterloo region and more. We also need to remember that while they do a lot for Waterloo, there’s so much to appreciate about RIM.
BlackBerry has posted an interview with the new President and CEO of RIM, Thorsten Heins. Thorsten Heins has been with RIM since 2007. He was one of RIM’s Chief Operating Officers prior to this promotion. We have the interview by RIM, some background on Thorsten Heins, and highlights from the video.

Scrapbook by Research In Motion has been updated to v184.108.40.206 and includes a fix for the broken Facebook connections. The app is free and really fun to display your pictures in a scrapbook format with your sheets hanging on a clothesline. The app is available in the BlackBerry App World.
RIM sent out a press release early this morning to talk about their plans to cut approximately 2,000 positions, mostly within North America.
