A very interesting article has arrived that indicates there will be two new CDMA Blackberry devices coming in 2009 (code named Niagara and Apex). The Niagara is essentially the CDMA version of the Bold, which will have styling similar to the BlackBerry Thunder and will be the next generation of the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition. We know Rogers will be launching the black colored Pearl 8220 almost anytime, but this image sure does look pink to us. You will also notice pricing will start at $49 with three year contract. RIM’s first flip BlackBerry, the Pearl 8220 is now available for Italian carrier TIM. You can pick up the device from them for 269 Euros (or approx. $373USD). At this time its only available in black, however maybe they will get the red and silver colors soon? Now if only Rogers and T-Mobile would hurry up and launch this puppy. T-Mobile will be launching three more colored BlacKBerry models on their network come October 15th. The three new colors include “Frost”, “Black Emerald”, and “Indigo”. The three new models are still the BlackBerry 8120 so they will be packing Wi-Fi, 2.0 megapixel camera and OS 4.5? You should be able to get these hot new colors on or shortly after October 15th. CrackBerry and friends have got some live shots of the newly announced BlackBerry Pearl 8220. One of the colors coming for T-Mobile USA is this dark red color. It’s a fairly nice shade of red similar to the Red Curve. Other colors. If you don’t like the red T-Mobile will also be launching it in black. Anyways the pics come from CTIA Fall 2008, which is going on in San Fransisco this week.... 

US Cellular is the first carrier in the United States to launch OS 4.5 for the CDMA Curve 8330 and Pearl 8130. They have launched OS 4.5.0.66 for both units and its now available for download on USC’s BlackBerry download page. Seems Rogers won’t get RIM’s first BlackBerry flip phone, the BlackBerry Kickstart Pearl 8220 for the once thought price of $50 with contract. The Pearl 8220 will be launching for $149.99 with three year contract. This pricing becomes more inline with their BlackBerry Curve 8310. So whos all up for getting a Pearl 8220??
