You may or may not have heard about Decal Girl. They offer unique vinyl skins for your BlackBerry and a matching wall paper to go with it. Anyways Bell and Decal Girl have teamed up to offer this unique skin and wallpaper combo for the BlackBerry Pearl, Curve or 8830 for free when your purchase a new Bell lackBerry.
Our friends from Elecite have created a new premium theme called “Cynosure”. This premium theme is self-customizable meaning you change the icons to your pleasure. This theme can be purchased for any Curve, Pearl or 8800 device running OS 4.5 or higher. If your device isn’t running opertaing system 4.5 the theme will not work unfortunantly.
Bell Canada’s own little budget brand Solo Mobile is getting set to launch their first BlackBerry smartphone. Solo will be launching the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 in white near the end of this month. Pricing is expected to land around $49 with three year term. Solo will offer similar data plans to both Bell and TELUS, however will also offer voice and data package combos.

We’ve received a very solid tip that TELUS’ release date for the BlackBerry Storm 9530 is set for November 17th (unless RIM pushes it back). If this is right TELUS would have a five day exclusive over Bell here in Canada. The tipster also is reporting that TELUS will charge users .50 cents per stream of Youtube clips, however if the client has certain data packages with web browsing (not known which ones at this time) then Youtube streaming will be included. Last but not least TELUS will be introducing both Red and Blue BlackBerry Pearl 8130’s early next month.
UPDATE: The tipster has sent in a few more details… Below is a picture of the two new colored Pearl 8130’s. Apparently the Storm is expected for November 17th, however RIM may still be working on software patches. Unfortunately no more details are available as of now. I guess we will have to play the waiting game…

Girls (and maybe some guys?) are going to love AT&T’s new designer BlackBerry Pearls! This pink and white colored Pearl 8110 are arriving at some AT&T stores now according to a tipster over at CrackBerry. No word on pricing or when exactly these new colors will be ready but you can expect them soon…
A very interesting article has arrived that indicates there will be two new CDMA Blackberry devices coming in 2009 (code named Niagara and Apex).
The Niagara is essentially the CDMA version of the Bold, which will have styling similar to the BlackBerry Thunder and will be the next generation of the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition. Apex is the CDMA version of the Pearl Flip 8200 Series (Kickstart) that many GSM carriers (such as T-Mobile, Rogers, etc).

We know Rogers will be launching the black colored Pearl 8220 almost anytime, but this image sure does look pink to us. You will also notice pricing will start at $49 with three year contract. RIM’s first flip BlackBerry, the Pearl 8220 is now available for Italian carrier TIM. You can pick up the device from them for 269 Euros (or approx. $373USD). At this time its only available in black, however maybe they will get the red and silver colors soon? Now if only Rogers and T-Mobile would hurry up and launch this puppy.
T-Mobile will be launching three more colored BlacKBerry models on their network come October 15th. The three new colors include “Frost”, “Black Emerald”, and “Indigo”. The three new models are still the BlackBerry 8120 so they will be packing Wi-Fi, 2.0 megapixel camera and OS 4.5?
You should be able to get these hot new colors on or shortly after October 15th.

CrackBerry and friends have got some live shots of the newly announced BlackBerry Pearl 8220. One of the colors coming for T-Mobile USA is this dark red color. It’s a fairly nice shade of red similar to the Red Curve. Other colors. If you don’t like the red T-Mobile will also be launching it in black.
