Here’s a story I ran across that I couldn’t resist sharing. In the news, there’s an article from TechCrunch. The article forewarns you about using your BlackBerry in Illinois. Apparently there’s an act called “The Illinois Eavesdropping Act” which makes audio or video recordings in public or private illegal without the consent of both parties. [...]
The story has been ongoing and is a concern. What countries are pulling a ban on our BlackBerry service and what they want. RIM has also stated 4 reasons for lawful access, so I’m including this as well. Whatever RIM does decide to do could change the future of dealings with foreign companies.
