Awesome news arrived today from the folks at OtterBox. They have just introduced their latest addition to the Defender Series and BlackBerry family. Starting today OtterBox is shipping the BlackBerry Curve 8900 Defender Series Case. It featuresthe usual three layered protection with durable holster. It will only be available in black for now and will run you $49.95, which is a small price to pay for... 

Gosh it seems like forever (October 08′) since we first saw Gizmodo’s photo of an AT&T branded Curve 8900. Tons of rumors later AT&T officially announced the release of the new Curve. According to them it will launch this Friday (May 22nd) for $199 with two year term. Keep your eyes peeled to AT&T’s website for the official launch. Any AT&T customers out there finally... 

BGR just got word from his ninjas that AT&T will finally be releasing the long awaited BlackBerry Curve 8900 this June! This is good news for anyone waiting to replace their Curve, however lets forget about the Curve 8900 and hope for a Gemini varriant. I was browsing OtterBox’s website last night only to discover that they have listed the Defender Case for Curve 8900 as coming soon. If you don’t know about OtterBox cases they are a highly durable, great impact case. OtterBox cases feature three layers of protection and a classic but durable plastic holster. Pricing is expected to be around $49.95 with a launch coming very soon. The 8900... 

BlackBerry OS 5.0 is yet to be leaked on to the internet, but RIM has been busy testing it away on many of their current lineup. A fan over at CrackBerry managed to take a video showing off a version of OS 5.0 running on a BlackBerry Curve 8900. Apparently most BlackBerry devices including the Bold, Curve 8900 and the unreleased 9630 should all see their OS’ updated to 5.0. So stay tuned in... 

Our friends over at Elecite have just introduced a hot new premium theme for the BlackBerry Bold, Curve 8900 and Storm. This new theme called PSB 3.0 is based off of Sony’s PlayStation console. It features 20 icons sorted by five drop down columns. It’s probably one of the coolest themes I’ve put on my BlackBerry to date! Elecite’s new PSB 3.0 theme will only run you $6.99... 

Wow this has been the most action packed Saturday in a while. Here is another shot of the BlackBerry Niagara 9630 only this time its up and running! Those of your on CDMA networks like Verizon, Sprint, Telus or Bell will have to wait a bit longer for this device to launch, but until then here is some hands-on action from CrackBerry. Enjoy! Kevin from CrackBerry has just obtained a couple new shots of the un-released CDMA BlackBerry code-named Niagara. If you don’t know about “Niagara” its the Bold/Curve 8900 crossover, which is expected to launch on most CDMA networks in North America later on this year. CrackBerry has shown us the first live pictures of the heavely rumored BlackBerry Niagara. In case you don’t know what “Niagara” is it’s going to be the CDMA Bold/Curve combonation featuring a CDMA/EVDO Rev. A Radio with 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS and of course a full QWERTY keyboard.
