Developers: Submit Your Apps For the PlayBook OS 2.0 Launch by 2/6…and Submit by 2/13 for a PlayBook!
Time’s a ticking and both Inside BlackBerry and the Inside BlackBerry Developer’s Blog have set the date for February 6th. You still can port and submit your apps later, but to have them available at the time of OS 2.0, it must be submitted by February 6th. There’s another incentive too!
RIM Announces Thorsten Heins as the New President and CEO of Research In Motion
The Press Release made it official, and Inside BlackBerry has posted the announcement. Jim Balsillie and Mike Lazaridis step down from their Co-CEO positions as Thorsten Heins steps up to the plate. I know Thorsten must be excited and elated to be taking RIM across the threshold and into a new era.
