Our friends at Viigo have just introduced a new lighter version of their popular app for BlackBerry. The purpose of Viigo’s new ViigoNews App is for those who don’t use all of it’s the in-depth features. You grab ViigoNews by pointing your BlackBerry browser to http://getviigo.com/news.

I know myself I will be using ViigoNews as I really only use Viigo for RSS feeds. I don’t need to extra Twitter, Weather, etc. Anyway which version of Viigo will you use? Original or News?

The new Opera mini features a slick new UI, with tabbed browsing, speed dials to your favorite websites, password manager, and a variety of keyboard and touchscreen gestures. Amazing news arrived today for TweetGenius fans such as myself! The creator of TweetGenius, Boy Genius announced that they have partnered up with BeeJive, creators of one of the most popular instant messaging clients for BlackBerry. The next generation TweetGenius application will sport both Twitter and Instant Messaging and is expected to be a real knockout. Slacker Radio is now pushed on to Verizon BlackBerry Storm’s

Verizon has just announced that they have signed an agreement with Slacker Radio to provide free radio to all their customers who currently own a Storm. If you haven’t tested out Slacker before it features nearly 100 expert-programmed Slacker stations, over 10,000 artist stations, and nearly unlimited custom stations, designed by listens. So many new applications get released into the BlackBerry Sync Store on a daily basis. Yesterday I was browsing the latest software and stumbled across a new application called ForceRadioOn, which basically allows your devices radio to turn on even when the battery is extremely low. I know many times I have been stuck without being able to use my device simply because my battery only had 5% left. This new application by Fabian Heuwieser is now application for FREE in the BlackBerrry Sync Store or via our Mobile App Store.
