custom-curve8900

You remember Colorware? It’s the site where you can give not only your BlackBerry, but tons of other devices a custom paint job. Well generally the custom paint job for a BlackBerry costs around $159 USD, and you have to send it to them. Well Colorware has introduced a parts only service for those feeling curious. Basically Colorware’s parts only service means you buy the pieces, and they’ll ship them to you for you to install. Currently the Parts Only service is available only for the BlackBerry Curve 8900 at a cost of $99 USD.

Review: Coveroo Custom Battery Doors for BlackBerry

coveroo-review-intro

Have you heard of Coveroo before? They offer laser engraved battery doors for all kinds of devices including BlackBerry smartphones. We had a chance test out Coveroo’s battery doors for the BlackBerry Storm, Curve and Pearl. Unfortunately no one on the team has a Bold at the moment or we would have checked them out too. I decided to get a custom door for my Storm with the BlackBerry Sync logo on it and then they included a couple Valentines Day designs for the Curve and Pearl. Coveroo offers all different stock colored battery doors so you don’t have to mix and match colors, of course unless you want too. Coveroo’s are currently available for the BlackBerry Bold, Curve, Pearl, Storm and 8800 series. The cool part about them is you can choose from hundreds of different designs or send in your own custom design (for an additional charge). Read More

Colorware is now available for the second generation of the BlackBerry Curve (8900). As usual with you have a ton of colors to customize your device. Earlier this month they launched custom color options for the BlackBerry Storm as well. Anyways you can have your 2nd generation Curve colored starting at $129 USD. Only issue is that Colorware only ships within the United States therefore Canadians are out of luck.

Anyone want to hook us up with a custom BBSync Edition colored Curve? :)

Colorware meets the BlackBerry Bold

<br />

Right after we showed you the red colored BlackBerry Bold we we’re told that Colorware PC is now doing custom BlackBerry Bold 9000’s. At first we didn’t think custom BlackBerry Bold colors we’re such a great idea but after checking out some of the options (such as our BBSync colors) it might just be a good idea! Pricing is $159 USD to send your own Bold in, unfortunantly the rapid return service isn’t available. Check out ColorWarePC.com for more details.
