T-Mobile leak shows Bold and Kickstart by August 1st

T-Mobile USA's upcoming roadmap shows many new smartphones including the BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Kickstart. All devices listed in the roadmap are set to launch between June 16th and August 1st. Dates and pricing are known for 100% but most likely you will see the BlackBerry Bold near the beginning to mid July. We didn't think the Kickstart was coming until at least late August or September but whatever we'll take it.

BlackBerry Bold is coming in CDMA as well?

Something very odd was brought to my attention today. Infosync World posted some details on the BlackBerry Bold including approxment size, pricing and launch details. Apparently the BlackBerry Bold 9000 will launch on AT&T in July 2008 for around $300 w/ contract, T-Mobile will launch in September 2008… Oh plus Verizon and Sprint both in September 2008 for $300 with contract. Honestly that sounds a bit odd to me that they would be launching it so soon as well.

Anyways no word on pricing or launch date for Canada's Rogers Wireless just yet.

Meet the colorful battery doors for the Bold

Well there is no doubt that RIM has been targeting the consumer market a lot lately. With the announcement of the new BlackBerry Bold at WES no one is sure yet if it will be more of hit with the business or consumer market.

RIM is showing off these new colored leather battery doors to go along with their new toy. Apparently this will just be the start of the different battery doors. Obviously customization is another key to RIM's successful consumer targeting for instance take a look at their upcoming BlackBerry Kickstart

RIM marketing BlackBerry 9000 as BlackBerry Bold?

BlackBerry 9000 liveWhile Kevin over at CrackBerry has been enjoying his BlackBerry 9000 he seems to have learned of a new name for the device. According to CrackBerry and BGR they both are claiming the new name for the device will be "BlackBerry Bold".

After a little bit of research it appears that blackberrybold.com has been registered to someone in Vancouver and not by RIM as of yet. However RIM does own a wide variety of blackberry9000.com domains including blackberry9130.com.

So it's really hard to say what RIM will launch the BlackBerry 9000 as but we should find out real soon
