Media Sync for Mac is coming soon!

Today’s a good day for Mac users like myself. A recent post in RIM’s Knowledge database (Article KB16003) is showing RIM is getting ready to launch Media Sync for Mac OS X users. It looks like this software is designed for the BlackBerry Pearl 8220, however I’m sure it will work with all models. You might even find it will ship with the 8220? So keep an eye on here for this software as it should be out soon!!

Any luck at all and RIM will launch a Mac verison of Desktop Manager soon enough as well…

Find a list of BlackBerry Apps from RIM

Every wonder where you can find all the BlackBerry approved applications and services for your device? A site that RIM has called BlackBerry Lifestyle lists a ton of applications that are built for BlackBerry. You can find everything from Facebook to Bank of America to XM Radio. Check out the entire list at at BlackBerry.com. It seems that the list is only computer friendly and doesn’t load well on your BlackBerry.

I wonder if RIM will integrate this into some sort of Application store?

Head on over to BlackBerry.com for details

Future Shop gets BlackBerry app for browsing and buying

BBCool pointed out that Future Shop (Canada's largest electronics retailer) has just launched an application for BlackBerry which allows you to browse their product catalog and make purchases. You can make purchases using BlackBerry's wallet application (after storing your credit card information). To download the application you'll need Internet Explorer (Firefox doesn't work, at least on a mac) and your USB cable. The software will automatically install via the browser.
