T-Mobile leak shows Bold and Kickstart by August 1st

Something very odd was brought to my attention today. Infosync World posted some details on the BlackBerry Bold including approxment size, pricing and launch details. Apparently the BlackBerry Bold 9000 will launch on AT&T in July 2008 for around $300 w/ contract, T-Mobile will launch in September 2008… Oh plus Verizon and Sprint both in September 2008 for $300 with contract. Honestly that sounds a bit odd to me that they would be launching it so soon as well.
Anyways no word on pricing or launch date for Canada's Rogers Wireless just yet.

RIM is showing off these new colored leather battery doors to go along with their new toy. Apparently this will just be the start of the different battery doors. Obviously customization is another key to RIM's successful consumer targeting for instance take a look at their upcoming BlackBerry Kickstart.

Rogers has just confirmed that they will be launching the BlackBerry Bold in Canada! While they don't announce any launch dates or pricing they simply made a coming soon page. You can asked to be notified when the Bold launches. Visit the Rogers website for details.
Kicking off WES 2008 this morning RIM announced the upcoming release of BlackBerry Bold, also known as BlackBerry 9000. This 3G packing smartphone comes fully equipped with HSDPA, EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 2.0 megapixel camera. Not only that but the BlackBerry Bold also features 1GB on on-board memory, 128MB of flash memory for content storage (such as phonebook and messages), Media Sync allowing it sync directly with iTunes and its amazing half-VGA (480×320 resolution) color display.

Other little things to note Kevin also says that the BlackBerry Bold will somehow sync with iTunes via Media Sync. This is huge!! Also to note BlackBerryBold.com will for sure be the official domain of the BlackBerry 9000 series.
Kevin over at CrackBerry is loving his pre-released BlackBerry Bold (9000) and thought he would share all the final features and specs which we can expect to see with its upcoming launch at WES.
While Kevin over at CrackBerry has been enjoying his BlackBerry 9000 he seems to have learned of a new name for the device. According to CrackBerry and BGR they both are claiming the new name for the device will be "BlackBerry Bold".
After a little bit of research it appears that blackberrybold.com has been registered to someone in Vancouver and not by RIM as of yet. However RIM does own a wide variety of blackberry9000.com domains including blackberry9130.com.
So it's really hard to say what RIM will launch the BlackBerry 9000 as but we should find out real soon…
So as you may or may not know RIM's WES 2008 conference starts in just a few days. The conference starts only May 13 and runs until the 15th. This year at WES (Wireless Enterprise Symposium) its likely that you will see RIM release their hot new toy, the BlackBerry 9000. Kevin over at CrackBerry.com has been putting the 9000 device through some in-depth reviews after winning this prototype off eBay. Check out what the upcoming BlackBerry 9000 has to offer by visiting on of these reviews:
Kevin over at CrackBerry managed to get his hands on a BlackBerry 9000 prototype off eBay. Yes thats right eBay. The auction was quickly pulled however it appears that Kevin won it. Here is his unboxing video of the 9000 stay tuned for his reviews coming soon!

Remember the lovely 3G, Wi-Fi packin' BlackBerry 9000 you've seen? Well according to BGR another part of the 9000 series is the BlackBerry code-named "Niagara" which will be the 3G-less version. You may ask why would they want a 3G-less 9000 model? Well apparently the price tag on the 3G 9000 is expected to be very very high. You never know with fingers crossed they're might even be a CDMA version hiding in there… Read More
