It’s been a while since we have seen any leaked OS’ for the Pearl Flip, but a new version (OS 4.6.0.259) has been lekaed online. Any Pearl Flip 8220 (not 8230) users can install this operating system (OS) on their phone but be sure to do a complete backup before proceeding. Also keep in mind this OS has not been officially released by RIM its simply been leaked from someone with access to it. If you haven’t installed a beta OS before you may not want to start now. Slovenia’s second largest carrier Si.mobil has just released official OS releases for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 and Storm 9500. For the BlackBerry Bold they have released OS 4.6.0.247 and the Storm 9500 is 4.7.0.113. Anyone with a Bold or Storm can use this OS versions simply remove the vendor.xml file (details here). Also be sure to do a complete backup before installing this OS in case you get any errors during the installation. Unfortunately no official releases for the Storm 9530 just yet… Stay tuned.

Let’s start off this Monday morning with yet another OS leak this time for the BlackBerry Bold. Anyone with a Bold can now un-officially upgrade their OS to either 4.6.0.244 or 4.6.0.245. It’s recommend you download it fast as the links never seem to last too long. Before installing please keep in mind that this OS is not official and has not been officially been released by RIM as of yet. Any issues that may happen to your phone neither RIM nor us are responsible for. It’s recommended you do a complete backup before installing. So if your feeling adventurous and want to install the OS simply follow the download link below.

Starting off the new week is a leaked beta OS for the BlackBerry Bold 9000. The new software version is OS 4.6.0.217. Your welcome to download this and install it on to your BlackBerry, however remember that this is a beta software and it has not been officially released by RIM. No big surprise but the un-released BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.6 with Media Sync looks similar to the upcoming DTM 4.5. I haven't really noticed any big changes yet to the software except the Media Sync, which we showed you a picture of yesterday. Check out some pictures of it by clicking

BBcool's tipster is spreading tons of new info. They just got their hands on RIM's OS roadmap showing OS 4.5 and 4.6. It seems that OS 4.5 will be available for all models 8700 and up (excluding the 8707) and will be coming sometime very soon. Next up is OS 4.6 which so far has only been designed for the BlackBerry Bold (which is set for release this summer.. July).
