Verizon has introduced new consumer data only plans, allowing customers to have just data no voice on their account. The new data plans have been developed for consumer devices (regular phones), PDA's and BlacKBerry smartphones. The new plan for BlackBerry is $55/month and includes Unlimited Data basically unlimited internet, email, instant messaging, picture messaging and video messaging.

Verizon caught me off guard this morning with the announced of the BlackBerry Curve 8330. This new Curve will be RIM’s smallest and lightest BlackBerry smartphone yet. It features a 2.0 megapixel camera, full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphones jack and external microSD memory card slot. For now Verizon’s Curve will only be available in liquid silver with chrome finish (as seen here).

Looks like Verizon might be cooking up a few colors of the upcoming BlackBerry Curve 8330. Just a few days ago we saw a silver colored one and now it appears some “advertising” for a black/grayish colored one has popped up. The ad says “Wait No More”with a launch date of April 7th in stores!. We wonder if this could be the work of someone who photoshop though the “In Stores April 7th” just seems a little weird and un-fit. Even the trademark sign looks fishy.

Verizon users jump around with joy when they see this picture. Thanks to a user over at CrackBerry Forums we now have our first glance at the Verizon branded BlackBerry Curve 8330. No information went along with the post simply just a picture of it.
Verizon Wireless has launched RIM’s new BlackBerry Professional Software, which is designed for small to medium sized businesses. The software is based on RIM’s BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) which large companies use. This software will allow small and medium sized businesses to get greater security and gain control and performance to their device at a much lower cost.
Verizon Wireless is the latest to jump on the Red BlackBerry game. Verizon has launched a Red BlackBerry 8830 World Edition. Starting tomorrow Verizon will have the Red 8830 for $299 with two year contract. We knew it was coming but today Verizon and RIM officially announced the Pink coloured BlackBerry Pearl 8130. This new pink Pearl will be instore starting tomorrow (Janauary 25th) for only $199 (after rebate) with contract. So who’s next for launches? Just like we told you, RIM is getting ready for a Pink BlackBerry 8130. How do we know this? Because Verizon put a "color swap" option on their promo site showing off the new pink color. Who's next? Telus maybe? stay tuned.
Oh Verizon how do you do it? They have just posted a teaser site for the launch of several new devices. It appears that one of the devices being launch on Wednesday will be the BlackBerry Pearl 8130. The countdown currently shows 4 Days: 4 Hours until the launch of these devices. While it's not official the photo is shadowed out, however you can basically tell its the BlackBerry Pearl. So stay tuned on Wednesday for official details of the BlackBerry 8130 (CDMA Pearl) launch.

Ok so we know for a fact that Sprint, Verizon, Telus and Rogers are all getting new BlackBerry Pearl's over the next few months. Even though RIM hasn't formally announced these new devices yet, We've come across some new rumors on the streets.
Keep in mind that RIM still hasn't even announced the new Pearl series yet. What we don't have any confirmation on yet is if AT&T or T-Mobile will be picking up the new Pearl 2.
