Update on Server Issues

Update November 19: Seems that the site is good to go for now. Please note that some features of the site may not be running 100% until further notice. Check back here for updates…

You may have noticed over the past few days that BBSync has been experiencing loading issues. We’ve been working hard along with our hosting company to get this resolved. Alright, We are Back Up and Running!

Well ladies and gentlemen we are finally back up and running! Still not sure exactly what happened, but I’ve learned not to play with things I don’t understand. A big thanks goes out to Ronen over at BerryReview for the helping hand. I’m truly sorry about the downtime and hope you enjoy the rest of the day…

Our RSS feed is now fully working again! Sorry about that.

rssHey Everyone! Over the past few weeks you may have noticed we’ve had some issues with our RSS feed. It wasn’t loading any of our new stories, and you may have missed out on some cool news. For that I’m sorry, however its all fixed now. As of now you should start receiving any new posts found on this site via your favorite RSS reader. If you haven’t signed up for the BlackBerrySync.com RSS feed yet it’s very simple. Add http://feeds.blackberrysync.com/blackberrysync to your favorite RSS application. If you haven’t download an RSS reader on your BlackBerry yet, click here to get Viigo it’s free and awesome.

Also I should point out… Over the next week or so we will be doing server upgrades. You shouldn’t notice any down time, however keep an eye on our twitter (@blackberrysync) for updates.

We are currently seeking fellow BlackBerry addicts who are interested in publishing news or reviews here on BlackBerry Sync! If your addicted and are interested in becoming a news or review contributor on BlackBerry Sync then we want to hear from you! We’re looking for people to help contribute news, reviews, how to guides, tips, downloads or weekly columns.

The BlackBerry Sync team is made up of BlackBerry loving people who aren’t professionals in writing. Just people who love talking about BlackBerry and want to share the news and reviews with the community. We don’t have any official requirements for any of the positions, however we do ask that you be fluent in English, have a BlackBerry smartphone and know at least the basics about BlackBerry devices. Other helping features include previous blogging or forum experience. Guest editors from other blogs are welcome and of course we will link back to your blog.
