BlackBerry Curve 8530 Announced, Heading to Sprint & Verizon

Look what came out of hiding! The BlackBerry Curve 8530 has just been announced officially by RIM. Not too long after it was announced we saw press releases from both Verizon and Sprint, in the United States. The new Curve 8530 sports a newer style body, with trackpad navigation, Wi-Fi, dedicated music keys and GPS. Sprint is yet to announce pricing or a release date, however Verizon says they will... 


Verizon officially announces BlackBerry Storm2 coming October 28th

We don’t know what took them so long, but Verizon finally announced the upcoming release of the BlackBerry Storm2 9550. Verizon says the Storm2 will be landing in stores on October 28th for $179.99 with contract, after mail-in rebates. BlackBerry Bold 9700 gets Official Announcemet!

It’s about time really! After being leaked on to the internet for months, its finally ready for prime time. RIM officially announced the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is coming soon. Apparently the Bold 9700 will make its way to carriers around the World, including Bell, Rogers, T-Mobile, and presumably TELUS. RIM and Vodafone announce BlackBerry Storm2 9520!!

We knew it was coming, but bright and early this morning Vodafone UK and RIM announced the upcoming release of the BlackBerry Storm2. Vodafone will be releasing the Storm 9520 which will include a number of improvements over the current 9500. Well it’s official! Both T-Mobile and RIM have announced the upcoming release of the new entry-level BlackBerry Curve 8520. The 8520 enters into the Curve family, rocking a couple new features, and some familiar old ones. RIM was working late last night! They officially introduced the BlackBerry Tour 9630 smartphone, which will be set to launch sometime this Summer. The 9630 features much of what we’ve already seen leaked around the internet. The Tour will be a packed smartphone featuring Dual-band CDMA with EVDO, Quad-band GSM with EDGE, UMTS/HSPA 2100MHz. Not only that but its got a 480×360 high resolution... 


It’s Official! Verizon launches BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230

Just only a day after 8230 dummies started showing up at Verizon stores, they have officially released it. It looks like Verizon’s Pearl Flip will run you $129.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate with a new two year term. Verizon is said to be releasing the 8230 in both silver and pink, however the press release only have the silver one listed. We aren’t sure if that means the pink one will... 


BlackBerry Extends Push API to Developers @ WES 2009

When I woke up this morning I had tons of email and 5 of which was RIM letting us know about their new announcements before WES ‘09. One of them caught my attention right away (BES 5.0) then followed by this one titled “RIM Further Extends Push Technology to BlackBerry Developers” which is great news! This means that software developers will now have access to RIM’s push technology...
