This is great news for Telus customers! The latest word is that Telus will be getting an exclusive on the highly anticpated touchscreen BlackBerry Thunder 9500. This means that Telus would join Verizon and Vodafone for a World Wide exclusive. Apparently the rumor has been confirmed by three separate sources, including one from the Globe and Mail stating “On the other hand, Telus is expected to launch (exclusively) a new touch screen BlackBerry this fall, which could steal some of the Bold’s Thunder, albeit temporarily.” in an article called “10 Reasons to Buy Rogers“.

It is expected that the Thunder will launch sometime in October (possibly Oct. 8th) on Verizon and hopefully Telus.
