My buddies over at Elecite have just introduced a hot new premium theme for the BlackBerry Bold, Curve 8900 and Storm. The theme is called Ulterior and is based off of the popular Alienware computer systems. Ulterior has been designed with the greatest detail, featuring glowing ribs on the side to represent your signal and power, and a handful of customizable and pre-set icons. It’s one of those themes that everyone will want to test out!

There’s a new theme from BPlay, “Guitar Hero World Tour”. It’s exciting with what it has to offer. It has custom icons, and backgrounds that rotate every ten minutes!!! There are a lot of BlackBerry owners and XBox owners playing the game. I’m guilty of having it on my BlackBerry myself, so the theme looks really amazing. The details, the customization, a perfect way to enjoy your game and share your interests and attitude.  

The game itself is available on BPlay as well for $9.99 and the theme is available for $5.99. I just want to know if there’s going to be a theme and game for the next upcoming Guitar Hero.

It’s Premium Theme Time! This week Elecite has introduced Noble, a high resolution theme for the BlackBerry Bold, Curve 8900 and Storm. Noble has been designed for every day use and features 3 icons at the top (media, clock and messages) along with 2 up and down arrows at the bottom. Not only that but you get 3D customizable icons (8 for the Bold and 9 for 8900 and Storm). This is truly one of the nicest themes I’ve seen come out of the Elecite labs in recent memory.

How To Install A Theme on your BlackBerry

You finally find a theme you like, one you have to have, and you’re ready to install it. I remember when I found the Matrix, I was so thrilled! There are different types of themes out there.  I’m going to go through the ways of installing two types of themes: OTA and as a zip through the BlackBerry Desktop Manager via the PC.  The very first and easiest type of file is one that is called OTA or Over The Air. You can follow a link by text or go to a website that offers themes, or even by email and download the theme. For good measure after it’s downloaded and installed, I do a battery pull and then I go to Options>Theme and from there I scroll to my new theme and I tap the trackball. Start to back up, and it will take some time as the theme starts.

Premium Theme From Hedone Design: BussFast

Thanks to Vicky from BerryReview, she posted a really eye appeasing theme released from Hedone Design. It has blades of grass in the background and the icons have an orange design to them. There are nine customizable icons and six are on the top bar, three are on the left. Date, time, and messages are all stored on the top, and somewhat is reminiscent of a software office program or Outlook-like. It’s very organized, easy on the eyes, and is a premium theme. It’s available for $7 in the BlackBerry Sync Store.

This is the newest theme released by cpuking inc. The theme has a transparent background for the top banner where your clock and signal meters are. That way when you find a nice background you like you can see the whole thing.
