Since I have my Bold 9930 with OS 7.1, finding themes has been a little bit more of a challenge, but finding themes that don’t get quirky is even harder. Especially since Theme Builder 7 isn’t available yet. Seven Point Five is one theme I’ve yet to see glitch. Check it out…

Seven Point Five is available in the BlackBerry App World for only $.99 for BlackBerry devices OS 7. It mimics the design of BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2, and runs smooth. I normally do a battery pull after installing a theme. In fact, with most themes I’ve encountered lately, after a few battery pulls it starts to glitch. Not so with Seven Point Five.

The homescreen banner is small writing but it includes everything clearly. From left to right it has the battery, alarm symbol, date, time, the NFC symbol, the bridge symbol, the bluetooth symbol, coverage and bars. The next bar is the profile and search bar. The icons are very familiar, but I really am impressed with how the folders are. They hold the apps and have pictures illustrating the contents.

The media player is impressive as well. I’ve arranged my apps and had a few battery pulls and no rearranging has been necessary yet. I like the dark leather looking background and the notice that as soon as the Theme Builder 7 is released, it will be updated. This theme lets me dream about OS 2.0 for my BlackBerry PlayBook while I’m anxiously waiting it’s release!

Thanks to NerdBerry for this one, Magmic has released a premium theme that is available for OS 4.2 and higher including OS 7.1! I downloaded and installed this, and I really love the colors, icons, and cursor. You have to check this one out….

This premium theme is available in the BlackBerry App World for a limited time only. Hurry if the theme appeals to you while Magmic is being very generous. The bright and vivid blue and purple work great together and the fun cursor and fun icons will be a theme you’ll have no trouble getting used to.

I’ve had a few people waiting for themes, and while we’re waiting, there have indeed been a few that have been created. I’m a fan of the bigger font and symbols on the homepage. Here’s a free one I think you’ll like. I came across it on Twitter and I have a few pics to share. 

The theme adds more red to the highlight, and the menu is black with white font and red highlight. While the highlight is red, the cursor stays blue. So if you’re looking for themes for your OS 7 device, check this one out and let us know what you think!

There’s quite the unique features that UberSocial has, and the latest updated version is v1.3. What’s new?

• Integrated with BBM, you can now set your BBM status or personal message to your last tweet, requires BlackBerry OS version 5.0 or higher.
• You can save and restore draft tweets from the compose screen.
• Reworked the login mechanism with Twitter to avoid some issues.
• Added the ability to turn off the global ‘Uber Tweet’ menu item

In order to install and use the UberSocial Theme Sherlock Holmes 2, you have to install UberSocial first. Then you install the Sherlock Holmes 2 theme, then go into UberSocial’s settings and go to themes and choose Sherlock Holmes. Now the Sherlock Holmes 2 Theme. The theme is a free download, and with it has a special sound when sending a tweet. You hear “Make it count!” Followed by “I’d say that counts.” Your tweet will be branded from Sherlock Holmes 2. It’s fun and the background is Watson and Holmes. If you look at the icons on the top, it has all the tabs for anything you’d want to find, including the homepage of the movie.

If you haven’t tried UberSocial lately, give it a try. I’m pretty sure you’ll be impressed at the very least. And the Sherlock Holmes theme is definitely worth installing UberSocial. You’ll love the alert as well, instead of the classic U, it’s SH for Sherlock Holmes. It’s another fun way to customize your BlackBerry with flair.

I love the way the frame is outlined by the pines on the homescreen. The signal, battery, time, and signal strength are tiny, hopefully that will be fixed with the Theme Studio too. The alerts and cursor are little globes and a sparkler which is very festive and very nice. The very background has snowflakes too. The menu is green and highlight is red, keeping the holiday colors. If you’ve been waiting with OS 7 for a theme, you’ll love this one, especially the pricetag.

Themes are a nice way to dress up your BlackBerry and show your style. I’m really selective about the ones I choose as well. This BlackBerry theme is nice, like a premium theme with a free price tag. Check out the features:

• 8 user application order icons with fade-in/fade-out effects
• Select any photo you like then set it as wallpaper
• Built-in ShootnShare application to share your BlackBerry screen to Twitter and Facebook
• OS7 iconsets

On the homescreen is a BlackBerry Playbook in the bottom right corner with a color picture in it. The homescreen displays the very pic in black and white. In the very top left is the BlackBerry name and symbol which is your battery life indicator. When the BlackBerry is charging, you’ll notice the symbol of the  BlackBerry turns red. The date is in the top center and the signal, GPS, Bluetooth, and alarm symbols rest in the top right.  In the bottom left corner sits a camera. This is your ShootnShare feature. If you move to the side, you’ll see the eight icons, one at a time and the picture on the BlackBerry PlayBook moves too. The time sits boldly in the bottom center.

When you tap on the menu button you can see the Thank You, weblink #BBthemes, and weblink: #BBapps. I liked the thank you in the theme icons. The message alerts are really nice too, they’re the BlackBerry symbol. The theme is nice, it does seem to use some battery but it’s a really nice theme. The ShootnShare is nice too. I like how it allows you to take a screenshot and share it via Twitter and Facebook.

If you’re looking for a premium theme and want to show your love of BlackBerry, then you’ll want to check this theme out. The theme is available free in the BlackBerry App World. The theme is compatible with OS5.0 and up.

Cocky Culture has released a theme that is nostalgic and fun, and my new favorite theme. I love the look, the way it decorates my BlackBerry. I have to show this with you. It’s not just decorated, it’s enhanced. Cocky Culture always has great and original themes, but honestly really love this one.

When I first saw this theme, I thought it was just wallpaper, but it looks really nice. It’s more than that. Each letter and shape you highlight and click will take you to your destined feature.  The time is hot pink and sits on the side which can be opened up. There”s a designated bar of icons which are customizable to whatever you have up in your first row. It’s colorful and resembles the 70′s meets newspaper.

Next is when you open up the menu, the icons are all colorful and fun and you can tell what they are, but I really like how accessible the features are from the homescreen. If you like nostalgic looks, you’ll love Vintage. The best part is that Vintage is available in the BlackBerry Sync Store for $4.99 but it’s on sale for a temporary time at the price of $1.99!

I haven’t highlighted a theme in a while, and I came across Naturize and really like it. It’s simple, nice, clean, and doesn’t lag or take much room. Even better, it’s in my favorite color – green! It doesn’t run your battery down or take your memory. Check it out…

Naturize is available for devices running OS 5.0 and OS 6.0. I love the shades of green, and the highlight that’s a neon light green and what looks like vintage vines that show up with the highlight on your icon your highlighting. Very simple.

The only thing I did notice is that the GPS symbol is cut off in half, but as far as the theme, it’s simple, elegant, nice, and runs smoothly. It’s nice, especially if you like free and simple themes. I don’t do themes often, so for me it’s nice. It’s understated and yet looks great.

Another exceptional point I like about this theme is the developer, BerryGlowDesigns, has asked that if you have any complaints or suggestions, to please email them and let them know, even though the theme is free! Nice to see that customer service is being upheld even with a free product.

UberSocial has updated their Twitter app and it now supports themes and more. Along with that, I’m sure you’ve seen the tweets on Twitter about the Uber50 theme created by 50 Cent himself. This is really a new and interesting concept, a theme with sounds for a Twitter client. check it out…

As you can see from the screenshot above, there’s been a few updates to the Ubersocial app. It wasn’t available on the BlackBerry App World just yet, but it is on the UberSocial website. You still have the same themes they introduced (they were the first to introduce themes for a Twitter app), and the UberSocial doesn’t come with the new theme Uber50. You have to have the latest version of UberSocial to be able to use the Uber50 theme.

Now we’ll take a look at the new theme for UberSocial. This is the description from the Uber50.com site:

To install the basic edition free theme Uber50, all you do is make sure you have downloaded the latest UberSocial version, download the Uber50 theme, then after it’s downloaded and installed you go through the Settings and when you come to Themes, you click on it and you’ll find Uber50. Choose that, finish settings and save and there you go. The icons are nice, I think I’d prefer the basic theme to the deluxe to begin with since I’m at my work alot and have alerts set up already.
