Inside BlackBerry posted a great video interview they held during CES 2012 with Andreas from Groupon. I don’t know if you’ve ever checked out Groupon, but it’s a great way of finding specials and deals in your area. We’ll describe Groupon and then you can check out the interview.

There are three steps to the Online Groupon:

1. Get it. Check your email, Facebook or Twitter feeds for daily deals on cool local businesses.
2. Share it. Groupons are more fun when used with friends. Pass along deals by email or broadcast them to your social networks.
3. Enjoy it. Print the voucher or bring it up on your mobile device, then present it at the business to get your deal.

Today was a great day for some of my favorite photo apps. Scrapbook by Research In Motion Limited is one of those fantastic jewels from the acquisition of the TAT team. They’ve been releasing some neat content packs along the way and today they released the Valentine content pack. Check out what’s new.

TAT stands for The Astonishing Tribe which Research In Motion acquired back in December of 2010. They then became Research In Motion TAT AB. They created the Scrapbook for the BlackBerry PlayBook.

The Valentine Scrapbook Content Pack has six Valentine themed stickers and three new Valentine backgrounds. Open your Scrapbook app on your BlackBerry Playbook and click Create, you’ll see the alert Content pack tab and if you open it, you’ll see there’s a new Valentine Content Pack you can download.

If you haven’t downloaded the Scrapbook app yet for your BlackBerry PlayBook, please check it out. It’s free and allows you to create scrapbook pages to showcase your pics and hang on a clothesline, and even share to Facebook.

VVM is a free app that allows you to send voice messages through BBM. It integrates with BBM and it works easily, clean UI, and it’s quick. The app is small, but what I like is that it’s so easy to use. With VVM you can send 25 second voicemails. Check it out…

I’ve been using and playing with the beta since the end of last month, and I like the way it works. It’s free so it avoids a quick call or text, and maybe it’s something you don’t want to type. The voice messages are very clear and unlike some apps, this one is the simplest I’ve seen yet.

Wunderlist by 6 Wunderkinder is a free cloud-sync task manager that’s multi-platform accessible and it’s been made available to the BlackBerry devices, although I didn’t see the BlackBerry PlayBook App included (access through web). It allows different ways to keep on top of task management wirelessly and it’s free. What is Wunderlist and what does it do?

BBHTool is a great tool to have, and it’s like a Swiss Army Knife for your BlackBerry and BlackBerry PlayBook. It has several tools in one and has been updated with some nice features, fixes, and optimization. This is a useful application for every BlackBerry user by lyricidal/theiexplorers.
