Just after announcing it was coming soon, TELUS has launched the BlackBerry Curve 8330. Pricing starts at $249.99 with three year contract and ends at $549.99 with no contract. Full details can be found on their site.
Weird why does Telus’ website show a picture of the BlackBerry Curve 8330 with Windows Live Hotmail on the screen? Isn’t Windows Live a Bell exclusive? and I don’t believe you can setup your Hotmail for free (working 100% that is)… That’s just odd. Maybe Telus has something up their sleeves?
Telus Mobility has finally announced the BlackBerry Curve 8330 as “Coming Soon”. Not only that but earlier today Toronto’s Metro News paper had an ad in it showing off the Curve for $249.99 with three year contract. According to rumors posted online the Curve will be priced at $549.99 (no contract) and $249.99 on three year with voice and data requirements. The last of the rumors also indicate a April 11th launch date.

Look at this! Someone managed to get a screenshot of the BlackBerry Curve 8330 coming to Telus. Not. Someone simply had a little free time with photoshop. Seriously though besides this picture someone actually posted a “screenshot” of the Curve on the Telus site. We have a feeling that it’s fake. Just to clear things up the BlackBerry Curve 8330 will be launching sometime next month and will have a different colour scheme than any other Curve on the market at the moment. There we go as promised, Telus has launched the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 in Black. This adds Pink and Silver to their collection. You can choose any of the three for $99 with three year term or $499 with no contract. Details are at TelusMoblity.com.
We received word today that Telus Mobility might be next to launch the Red BlackBerry 8830 World Edition. We aren’t too sure what to think about this but according to the anonymous tipster its set to launch within the next few months. Stay tuned if we hear any further information.
Just like we told you last month, Telus has recently launched the BlackBerry Peral 8130 in Pink. They will be offering a new promotion Valentines Day. Telus is offering the hot new BlackBerry Pearl 8130 in Pink for $99 with three year contract and donating $25 from every Pink Pearl purchase to Rethink Breast Cancer. Not only that but Telus has launched all new data plans including Unlimited Email & IM for $15, Unlimited Email, IM & Web for $30 and a few more combos including unlimited text, caller ID and voicemail. Anyone who managed to take part in the older Email & IM 15 with mobile browsing has been grand fathered (meaning its no longer offered and renewable).
Here's a quick tip for you if your in Canada and looking at getting a BlackBerry this holiday season! Both Telus and Bell are offering the new BlackBerry Pearl 8130 (next generation Pearl) for $0 with three year term. But if you choose Telus and and get a voice of at least $30 a month you can get unlimited email and instant messaging for $15 extra a month. Here's the best part! As a bonus Telus is offering Unlimited mobile browsing (unlimited internet) for free with this data plan.
Unfortunately Telus' website only shows unlimited email and instant messaging on this data plan but it's confirmed mobile browsing is included as well. This offer is for a limited time and could expire soon.
Some BlackBerry 8830 users on Telus Mobility have been emailing us lately complaining of poor audio quality during conversations with and without Bluetooth. Well it seems that RIM heard you and has now released a small update or "Hot Fix" thats available for free download on their site. All you do is download and install this program and Desktop Manager will do the rest. This fix will upgrade your Telus 8830 to verison 4.2.2.322.
Well the good news is we received our shinny new BlackBerry Pearl 8130. This new CDMA Pearl brings all new features to the CDMA BlackBerry lineup. Here is some snapshots of the new BlackBerry OS.
