More TELUS BlackBerry Peral Flip 8230 leaks come from Best Buy

Alright seriously TELUS just release the damn thing! Seems that Best Buy is the Expansys and loves to leak things for BlackBerry and TELUS. Best Buy has just posted their flyer which shows the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 in both Black and Pink for $99.99 on 3 year, $199.99 (voice only) on 2 year, or $449.99 with no contract. So first with the leaks on their site and now the flyer leaks you can expect the Pearl Flip to drop almost any time now… Maybe even today. Stay tuned.

Best Buy outs BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 from TELUS

Earlier this month we reported that TELUS would be launching the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 this month. Well Best Buy has just posted it online and it looks like it the no contract price will be $499.99. Best Buy has them on their site in both black and pink, however they don’t appear to have stock in stores just yet. Does this mean TELUS will be launching it officially very soon? Orginally we reported that TELUS would be launching it this month (seems they are cutting it close)…

BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 (CDMA) coming to TELUS – February 2009

We’ve received a solid tip regarding TELUS and the un-released CDMA BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230. Sources have confirmed that TELUS will be launching the Pearl Flip 8230 most likely next month (February). The tipster says that TELUS will likely launch it around the middle of February (Valentines Promo?) in both Black and Pink. Just like the other Pearl smartphones the Flip is expected to be highly customizable with a varrity of OEM BlackBerry accessories and have a very reasonable price tag. So just to recap Pearl Flip on TELUS sometime next month? Stay tuned for more details when we get them!

RIM 2009 Roadmap shows 3 new CDMA models and more…

Great news has arrived for those CDMA users in the house. A leaked document shows that three new CDMA BlackBerry models will be launching in the first half of 2009. These code-named models include “Niagara” the CDMA BlackBerry Bold 9030, “Jupiter” the CDMA BlackBerry Curve 8900, and “Apex” the CDMA BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230. Here’s the best part for the CDMA ones they are expected to launch on the major 4 (Verizon, Sprint, Bell and TELUS). Also reported is “Magnum” the 3G HSPA version of the Curve 8900 (9220)., “Pluto” the touchscreen BlackBerry Bold 9900, and possbily a Slider Storm and new refreshed Peral lineup. Refer to the image above to rough announcement dates. So it looks like it will be a great 2009 and we can’t wait for WES 2009.

TELUS BlackBerry Storm’s now fully instock…

When TELUS first said the BlackBerry Storm would be available “in time for the Holiday season” they weren’t kidding. We just received word from TELUS that the BlackBerry Storm 9530 should be fully available within the next day or so. This comes after TELUS released a small quanity to tease us with a few weeks ago. Anyone who is looking to do an upgrade on their account and is eligable will be receiving a $50 bill credit bringing the cost down to $199 with three year term, all others can pick it up for $249 with three year term. TELUS brings Mobile Music, Radio and Mobile TV to BlackBerry

Users can now download TELUS Mobile Music, Mobile Radio and Mobile TV on any BlackBerry running OS 4.5 or higher. This news comes right after TELUS released OS 4.5 for their BlackBerry Pearl and Curve yesterday. TELUS Mobile Music is available in pay per use or a monthly charge. Prices start at $1.99 for download on PC and your phone. Mobile Radio from TELUS features some of the most popular XM Radio channels and starts at $8/month for 15 channels or $15/month for 50 channels. TELUS finally puts out BlackBerry OS 4.5 for Pearl and Curve

They may have been a little behind due to the Storm launch but TELUS Mobility today released OS 4.5. They have released OS 4.5.0.77 for both the Pearl 8130 and Curve 8330. For some odd reason they didn’t bother to upgrade the BlackBerry 8830, which is one of TELUS’ most used business devices. The new OS is available starting today for download. Simply download the update then connect your BlackBerry to the Desktop Manager software.

BlackBerry Storm 9530 is official on TELUS

TELUS Mobility officially announced the availability of the BlackBerry Storm 9530 World Edition. The Storm is available at select locations with full availability in January 2009. Pricing starts at $249 with three year term and ends at $599 without contract. Visit telusmobility.com to purchase or check out the accessories.

Keep in mind you have to order the Storm by December 17th to get it for Christmas.

TELUS BlackBerry Storm launching THIS WEEK!

We just received word that TELUS will be launching their BlackBerry Storm this week. After the fun party they held last night in Toronto it seems they are finally ready to launch it. Official pricing will remain at $249.99 with three year term or $599 outright. Apparently Bell will be launching their Storm on Monday so it looks like Canadians will be getting an early Christmas present after all.

Update: Apparently only select stores are receiving the first round of stock. Shipments include the devices and selection of skins, chargers and replacement stuff like batteries and doors. Looks like they should be in store on Friday!
