Although RIM is yet to announce the all touch BlackBerry Curve 9380, it seems Telus jumped the gun a little early. The un-announced BlackBerry Curve 9380 has appeared in the Telus Holiday Guide as coming soon. The new Curve 9380 is a BlackBerry 7 OS smartphone, which features a 3.2″ high resolution touch screen, and a 800MHz processor. We expect RIM will announce this device soon, and it should make its way to various carriers soon.

We just checked in with most of the major carriers in Canada this morning to see if anyone has announced the new BlackBerry 7 smartphones. So far this morning only Telus seems to have announced them as Coming Soon. Both the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Torch 9810 are listed as coming soon on the carrier’s website, however for whatever reason the new all-touch Torch 9860 is not listed yet. We do know that Telus will be carrying the device, but it seems they haven’t posted a coming soon page for it just yet. If you visit telusmobility.com you will see the coming soon image for the new BlackBerry 7 smartphones, with all three models (Bold 9900, Torch 9810, and Torch 9860) hiding in the background. There has been a ton of leaks today regarding upcoming BlackBerry 7 smartphones and the major wireless carriers in Canada. I thought I would take a few minutes and summarize them into one great post for you. So far today we’ve seen leaked documents from Bell, Telus and Rogers which show the BlackBerry Bold 9900, BlackBerry Torch 9810, and the new all touch BlackBerry Torch 9860 launching within weeks of each other. So let’s take a look at the rumored launch dates for all these devices:

Bell

A leaked roadmap landed today which shows tons of BlackBerry goodness coming to Bell. The roadmap shows the BlackBerry Torch 9810, Torch 9860, Bold 9900, and Curve 9360. This roadmap compares each device, but sadly doesn’t give any time frames for launches. If we had to guess we say the launch dates will follow very closely to Telus, which you will see below. [image via CrackBerry]

Telus

BGR obtained a leaked internal spreadsheet which shows a ton of upcoming devices, including 7 new BlackBerry 7 smartphones. The list (which is hard to see) points to an August 15th launch date for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Torch 9810, the new all touch BlackBerry Torch 9860 is slated for August 22nd, and finally the ultra thin Curve 9360 around August 29th. So it looks to be a very interesting month for Telus at least.

Rogers

Finally TechnoBuffalo obtained a very blurry image Rogers confirming they will release the BlackBerry Bold 9900. While its extremely hard to make out it seems Rogers will try and have this new BlackBerry 7 smartphone out the door for August 9th — Yep, just one week away. Sadly they didn’t get any information about the Torch 9810, Torch 9860, or new Curve 9360. But I’m sure Rogers will spill the beans sooner than later…

So as you can see its shaping up to be a very exciting month for the BlackBerry brand and Research In Motion. We expect to hear more from RIM about the un-announced devices over the next couple of days. Stay tuned!

Not too long ago we saw a BlackBerry Bold Touch and Torch 9850 in the wild running on Telus (pic above). Now new rumors have arrived indicating that Telus will be launching three new BlackBerry models this August – the Bold Touch 9900, Torch 2 (9810), and Torch 9850 9860.Apparently the next generation Curve 9360 will follow in late September. Now if these dates are true this could be huge for RIM in the back to school market, so lets hope! MobileSyrup reported the following launch dates for these BlackBerry smartphones at Telus:

• BlackBerry Torch 9810 – August 19th
• BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 – August 18 or 19th
• BlackBerry Torch 9860 – August 26th
• BlackBerry “Bellagio” (possibly Curve 9360) – TBD – Late September

Somebody is going to get fired over this one. @eatcalifornia just posted up a picture of two upcoming BlackBerry smartphones, including a un-announced BlackBerry Touch 9850 with Telus branded (note the background). Sadly not much detail was given about the devices, but we expect to see both of these devices later this summer. I can’t believe how big the BlackBerry Touch’s display is when compared to the Bold Touch. It’s making it consider it as my next device. Apparently this picture was taken in Toronto — PS if you’re hungry check out Eat California’s sandwhiches, they sound yummy!

Thanks to CrackBerry who pointed it out, we see the latest commercial from Telus featuring the BlackBerry PlayBook and the BlackBerry, showing two are better than one. What’s really rocking besides the AC/DC song Thunderstruck setting the stage is that it points out some things are better together…

The BlackBerry Style has made its way to Canada. Earlier this morning TELUS became the first Canadian carrier to launch the new BlackBerry Style 9670. This compact clamshell BlackBerry will be the first CDMA BlackBerry to Canada featuring BlackBerry 6, 5.0 megapixel camera and a full QWERTY keyboard. The BlackBerry Style is expected to launch on Bell and TELUS within the next few weeks, and already dummy display units have already started to arrive at TELUS stores. This CDMA smartphone runs on RIM’s new BlackBerry 6 OS, and sports a full QWERTY keyboard, in a compact design with a 5.0 megapixel camera, large external display, Wi-Fi, and more. The BlackBerry Style is expected to launch for $399 with no contract and be under $100 with a three year term at TELUS. We expect to see TELUS announce this new handset shortly… Stay tuned.

The BlackBerry Torch is set to go on sale in Canada on Thursday (September 30th), and some companies like Future Shop and Best Buy are now accepting pre-orders. One thing I noticed while browsing Future Shop’s website yesterday is the outright prices. So far it looks like Virgin Mobile Canada will be selling their Torch 9800 for $549.99 outright, while Bell, TELUS, and Rogers all sell it for $599.99. We aren’t too sure if this will be Virgin’s final retail price for the device, or if we will see a $50 price drop from the other carriers before launch. If we had to guess I would say Virgin might put the price up.
