Pre-Launch overview of new BlackBerry Pearl series

Ok so we know for a fact that Sprint, Verizon, Telus and Rogers are all getting new BlackBerry Pearl's over the next few months. Even though RIM hasn't formally announced these new devices yet, We've come across some new rumors on the streets.

  • Sprint should be getting their GPS enabled, Wi-Fi less BlackBerry Pearl 8130 sometime by American thanks giving.
  • Verizon is in the same boat as Sprint. They should see their 8130 sometime late October-November.
  • Telus should see the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 with GPS (no Wi-Fi) around the same time as Verizon in the U.S.
  • Rogers should have their GSM BlackBerry Pearl 2 with Wi-Fi sometime right before Christmas. Their device will have Wi-Fi, however we don't believe it will have GPS.

Keep in mind that RIM still hasn't even announced the new Pearl series yet. What we don't have any confirmation on yet is if AT&T or T-Mobile will be picking up the new Pearl 2.
