Rogers BIS migration from 1.8 to 2.0

Starting March 24th clients on Rogers Wireless using the older version of BIS 1.8 will be asked when they log in if they would like to upgrade to the new 2.0. The new BIS 2.0 doesn’t allow users to access their inbox and manage emails like the older version can. Clients need to keep in mind while it’s always better to have the later version, once they upgrade they can’t go back to the old one. For more details head over to HowardForums.

Navy BlackBerry Pearl 8110

Ok the last official/un-official Pearl news for the day is that Rogers is releasing the BlackBerry Pearl 8110 within the next few days. The Pearl 8110 (also known as Pearl 2) is similar to the CDMA 8130. It features a newer updated QWERTY Suretype keyboard, upgraded 2.0 megapixel camera, external memory card, 3.5mm headphones jack, stereo Bluetooth and GPS.
