BlackBerry Bold 9700 Now Available from Rogers!

As you may know all three major Canadian networks are getting set to launch the BlackBerry Bold 9700 this week. Rogers seems to have jumped on the ship first, being the first network to officially release it. Starting today you pick up the Bold 9700 for $299 with three year term, or $599 without. The new Bold features high resolution display, with full QWERTY keyboard, trackpad navigation, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.2 megapixel camera, and operates on RIM’s new OS 5.0. Looks like Rogers might be the first to launch the BlackBerry Bold 9700 in Canada! Tips have started to arrive that a select bunch of Rogers stores have started to receive their Bold 9700 stock. We still haven’t heard officially from Rogers when they plan to launch the device, but we most likely will hear something this week. Apparently pricing is expected to be $299 with three year term, or $599 without contract. So sit back and wait a few more days before the official launch.

BlackBerry Bold 9700 Announcements from AT&T, T-Mobile, Bell, and Rogers

Just hours after the BlackBerry Bold 9700 was announced, four of the large North American carriers have announced it’s coming soon. AT&T, T-Mobile, Bell, and Rogers all say the Bold 9700 is coming in the coming weeks, and its expected that TELUS will also say something soon too. So far Rogers has announced the 9700 will run you $299 with three year contract (with minimum data requirements). No word on pricing from others yet.

BlackBerry Bold 9000 in White Coming to AT&T – October 18th?

Word is spreading that AT&T will be releasing the white edition of the BlackBerry Bold 9000 on October 18th. Latest reports from BGR, Engadget Mobile, and CrackBerry say that AT&T will launch it on the 18th for $199 with two year contract. Shortly after that Rogers here in Canada will be launching it for an unknown price. So after seeing the new White Bold… What do you think? Are you going to grab one or wait for the Bold 9700?

BestBuy’s inventory shows Bell getting BlackBerry Bold 9000 in Black; Rogers in White

You gotta love a good leak from BestBuy’s inventory system. One of the ninjas over at BGR sent in some screenshot’s showing that Bell will be getting the BlackBerry Bold 9000 in black, and Rogers will be getting the Bold 9000 in White. You might also want to notice the Bold 9700 listed in there for both Bell and Rogers as well. No word on launch dates or pricing, but stay tuned.

I wonder what devices TELUS will be getting?

Rogers getting BlackBerry Bold 9700 on October 26th!

Over the past few weeks months we’ve seen a ton of BlackBerry 9700 rumors, and now Boy Genius has confirmed that Rogers will launching the BlackBerry Bold 9700 aka Onyx on October 26th. While Rogers has no commented, it’s expected the Bold 9700 will launch at a high price range (somewhere around $249+ with three year). So sit back and stay tuned for more details once we get them. BlackBerry Curve 8520 officially launched by Rogers

It’s finally here! The new mid-range BlackBerry Curve 8520 for Rogers has been officially released. Starting today Rogers customers should be able to grab one for $99 with three year contract, or $449 without contract. As of today Rogers is offering the Curve 8520 in black, followed by Violet in the coming weeks. It’s not on their website as of yet, but expect it later today.

Best Buy lists Rogers BlackBerry Curve 8520 $99/$449

It seems the Rogers BlackBerry Curve 8520 is just around the corner. Today Best Buy Canada “accidentally” listed the BlackBerry Curve 8520 for Rogers on their site. It’s currently listed at $99 with three year contract or $449 without. This comes after launch materials and dummy phones have arrived at some Rogers retail stores across Canada. This might mean we will see an official launch sometime soon. Keep checking in…

Rogers BlackBerry Curve 8520 Spotted in Wild!

It seems that Rogers might be launching the Curve 8520 soon than later. The first live picture of a Rogers branded 8520 has been spotted over at BGR. This unit is running OS 4.6.1.274, and appears to have zero physical branding, just the OS boot up screen. Looks like this is the start of things to come… Anyone care to leak out some shots of the Rogers branded Onyx (Bold 9700)??

BlackBerry Bold 9700 & Curve 8520 Found in Rogers Inventory!

We knew it would come soon than later, but proof the BlackBerry Bold 9700 “Onyx” and Curve 8520 “Gemini” are heading to Rogers has arrived. Boy Genius obtained some screen shots of Rogers’ internal upgrading system, which shows both devices listed. It’s not known when either of the devices will be available, or even pricing at this time. We think both devices should launch late this month or early next… Stay tuned for confirmation.
