Best Buy outs BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 from TELUS

telus-blackberry-8230

Earlier this month we reported that TELUS would be launching the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 this month. Well Best Buy has just posted it online and it looks like it the no contract price will be $499.99. Best Buy has them on their site in both black and pink, however they don’t appear to have stock in stores just yet. Does this mean TELUS will be launching it officially very soon? Orginally we reported that TELUS would be launching it this month (seems they are cutting it close)…

Bell running out of stock on BlackBerry Curve 8330 – raises price to $99.95

    bell-logo

First there was a stock shortage on the BlackBerry Storm, now there seems to be one on the Curve 8330. According to Mobile Syrup, Bell has doubled their three year contract price in order to save a little stock on the BlackBerry Curve 8330. They have told employees to offer the free Pearl 8130 before showing the Curve due to the stock issues. So for now if you really want a Bell Curve you will have to dish out $99.95 for that three year term.

Fido stores starting to receive BlackBerry Pearl 8100s – Launching Feb. 4th

    fido81202

Word over at BGR is that some Fido stores are starting to receive their shipments of BlackBerry Pearl 8100s. This will be Fido’s first BlackBerry smartphone on the network and we wouldn’t be surprised if these we’re just left over Rogers stock. Fido will be selling the Pearl 8100 for $25 on three year term or $400 without term. The best news to come out of this is that Fido will be allowing unlocked BlackBerrys on their network so this means you could use something a little better such as Bold, Curve and even a Pearl Flip.

Stay tuned for Fido to lauch other BlackBerry models later this year…
