Boy Genius has rained on our Canada 8830 dreams for a little bit longer. He is reporting that RIM has made it known that its being delayed due to unknown issues. According to Boy Genius the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition was supposed to be formally announced yesterday and start shipping June 22nd. He also says this is not a carrier issue its something on RIM's end and that they have recalled all shipments for a fix. Apparently Telus is hoping for a launch by the end of June. So for the time being both Bell and Telus are without the BlackBerry 8830 until further notice. Keep checking back we'll update this as soon as we hear something.
