Our BlackBerry software store is full of many different applications but this one really caught my eye! Introducing Level Pro from Mobigloo. Level Pro allows you to use your BlackBerry Storm’s accelerometer as a level and ruler simply by calibrating your device to ensure its perfectally level. OS 4.7.0.88 leaked for Vodafone BlackBerry Storm 9500

It wouldn’t be another start to the week without a BlackBerry Storm OS leak. Since the launch of the Storm we have seen a OS leak almost weekly. Today the leak is for the Vodafone 3G only Storm 9500. The new OS is 4.7.0.88 and we aren’t sure what it does or doesn’t do just yet. Please just keep in mind before installing this OS that you backup everything on your phone because you never know what could happen by installing this software. RIM has not officially released this update its simply been leaked by someone internally either at RIM or Vodafone. But if your a so called Storm Chaser go and enjoy it!!

OS 4.7.0.86 leaked for BlackBerry Storm 9530

Storm-chasing addicts out there will be happy today! A new leaked version of OS 4.7 for the BlackBerry Storm 9530 is available. The new version is OS 4.7.0.86 and seems to be a slight upgrade from the last couple leaked versions. Early reports are suggesting this OS brings much more stability to the device including faster camera, web browsing and accelerometer. Remember this isn’t an official OS release from RIM therefore make sure you know what your doing before installing it. All you have to do is download this OS, install it, open Desktop Manager and you should be good to go from there. BE SURE TO DO A BACKUP OF YOUR DEVICE BEFORE INSTALLING THIS. Good luck!

Colorware launches for BlackBerry Storm!

Surely by now you’ve heard of Colorware, they offer custom painting solution for your BlackBerry smartphone (and many other electronics). Well they have just launched support for the BlackBerry Storm! So now if you want to be unique again you can have your Storm custom painted. Prices start at $129 USD or $949 USD if want to buy the device. Colorware allows you to change your Storm into tons of different colors (for example the one above is close to the BlackBerry Sync colors). Flipside and PhoneFace arrive for BlackBerry Storm

The folks from Electric Pocket just let me know that everyone’s favorite BlackBerry app Flipside has been updated for the BlackBerry Storm. Not only that but they also updated PhoneFace  for the Storm. If your not familiar with Flipside its a great MP3 program for your BlackBerry which users coverart to display your music (similar to iTunes). PhoneFace is a cool application that allows you to use pictures for your contacts and speedials instead of searching by just name and numbers. Both very neat programs and now both for the Storm.

OS 4.7.0.85 leaked for Vodafone’s BlackBerry Storm 9500

A new unofficial OS has leaked for the Vodafone BlackBerry Storm 9500. The new OS is version 4.7.0.85 which we recently saw released for the Storm 9530. So far we aren’t to sure of what this new OS version offers, however with the CDMA 9530 version it didn’t seem to run that well. I don’t recommend upgrading to this OS if you haven’t used a beta OS before (They can cause your device to become useless). There obviously is a reason RIM hasn’t publically offered this version just yet. But if your feeling lucky you can give it a shot the download link is here.
