Finally a new BlackBerry Storm OS has been leaked online. I’m a few hours late posting it because I was waiting to check and see if this was a RIM sourced one or someones hybrid copy. Orginally when we showed you the Storm’s new selection tool that was included in the 4.7.0.113 we had obtained. So we believe that this is the real deal and has been leaked from RIM. Seems everyone wants to get in on the BlackBerry Niagara party! Boy Genius got his hands on the un-released BlackBerry 9630 “Niagara”. Apparently his software is very buggy like the others we have seen online but overall he seems to be fairly impressed with the 9360’s hardware. I’ve always been a fan of the WeatherEye application for BlackBerry and now its finally got BlackBerry Storm support. Previously the WeatherEye application was only designed for devices with trackballs. You could still use the app with the Storm, however it didn’t work well. Anyways Plemorex has finally released the new version 1.1.1.6 which looks more like the iPhone’s WeatherEye... 

After being leaked a couple times, the Plazmic Developers Kit 4.7 is now officially available for download. Plazmic 4.7 brings theme development support for devices running anything up to OS 4.7 (including the BlackBerry Storm, Curve 8900 and Pearl Flip). What does this mean for you? Slovenia’s second largest carrier Si.mobil has just released official OS releases for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 and Storm 9500. For the BlackBerry Bold they have released OS 4.6.0.247 and the Storm 9500 is 4.7.0.113. Anyone with a Bold or Storm can use this OS versions simply remove the vendor.xml file (details here). Also be sure to do a complete backup before installing this OS in case you...

The BlackBerry Storm 9530 OS 4.7.0.114 was just leaked last night and now its available for the GSM Storm 9500. If you plan on testing it out I recommend you download it fast as the links never seem to last too long. Before installing please keep in mind that this OS is not official and has not been officially been released by RIM as of yet. We also recommend  you do a complete backup before installing. ... 

Previously we showed you a sneak peak of an upcoming 9530 OS from RIM that featured a new selection tool. That OS we checked out was 4.7.0.112 and seemed to run very well! Well a new leaked OS for the Storm 9530 4.7.0.114 is now available for download. We don’t know exactly what the new version features but hopefully its even more stable.
