This is a sign that Verizon’s BlackBerry Tour launch will come soon than later. This means that we at least know Verizon will be launching the Tour somewhere within this window. Most likely you will see Verizon launch the 9630 sometime early next month… Stay tuned for more details once we hear them.

Rumored Telus BlackBerry Tour 9630 Pricing & Launch Date… Boo!

launcdate

We just received a tip from HowardForums member RileyFreeman who seems to come across an internal Telus presentation. Apparently the BlackBerry Tour 9630 will be launching on Telus July 15th. If this presentation is right then Telus will be launching the 9630 for $249 with 3-year contract, $649 with no contract (OUCH!). Unfortunately if this is true then we will have just under one month until launch. Keep checking in we’re trying to confirm this more…

BlackBerry Tour 9630 kind of shows up on Telus website!?!

blackberry_tour_9630A member over at the CB Forums found something very interesting hiding on the Telus severs. Simply by changing a file name around the tipster found a small image of the BlackBerry Tour 9630 featuring Telus branding. These images are usually used on the Telus phones page. This really brings us to think the rumored launch date of June 22nd is in fact true. Stay tuned for more details when we get them…

Differences between Pre-Release Tour 9630 and Official Tour 9630

two-tour

I logged into YouTube today and noticed that I’ve been watching a lot of videos on the unreleased Tour 9630 (go figure!). Anyway one of them was titlied “My 2nd BlackBerry Tour just arrived” and I was thinking to myself how come he gets two? Anyway the guy in the video goes on to show differences between a pre-release 9630 and un-branded carrier 9630. It looks like RIM decided to make a few minor changes. Oh not only that but he also adds a little surprise at the end of the video… Not sure to sure what that means just yet. Skip over on the see the video.
