It seems that 6.0.0.526 is the new hotness. Over the past couple of days we’ve seen it leak for the BlackBerry Torch, Curve 9300, and now the Bold 9780. We haven’t heard what fixes this brings to the Bold 9780, but we’ve heard pretty good things about .526 for the Torch. Before installing this leaked OS we do recommend you do a full device backup. Also keep in mind that this is not an official OS, therefore your carrier and RIM may not support it. Follow the link below to download!

Leaked: OS 6.0.0.499 for BlackBerry Curve 9300 & Bold 9700

Yesterday turned out to be a pretty good day for leaked OS’. The latest round of leaks is OS 6.0.0.499 for both the BlackBerry Curve 9300 and the BlackBerry Bold 9700. We haven’t heard what these OS versions have to offer, but like most leaked OS’ we recommend doing a full backup of your BlackBerry before installing this version. It’s also important to remember that this leaked OS is not officially supported by RIM or your carrier as of yet, therefore additional support may not be possible. Official: OS 6.0.0.461 for BlackBerry Bold 9700 & Curve 3G 9300 from Telus

It’s been available via BlackBerry Desktop Manager for at least a week now, but its now officially official from Telus, BlackBerry OS 6.0 for the Bold 9700 and Curve 9300 is now available for download for Telus customers. The new OS update brings all the familiar features of the BlackBerry 6 OS found in the Bold 9780 to the previous Bold 9700, and Curve 3G. These features include universal search, social feeds, Web Kit browser, and of course the slightly updated UI (user interface). Leaked: BlackBerry Bold 9700 OS 6.0.0.461

It’s been a little while since we saw a leaked OS for the BlackBerry Bold 9700. Today our friends at N4BB stumbled upon OS 6.0.0.461 for the Bold 9700. While this isn’t an official release (yet), it can be installed on any BlackBerry Bold 9700. We would recommend doing a full backup of the device before installing this OS just to be safe. Most BlackBerry Bold 9700 and Curve 9300 smartphones in North America are still patiently waiting for an official OS 6 update. Vodafone has just launched OS 6.0.0.448 for both the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and Curve 3G 9300. This update is one of the highest versions of BlackBerry 6 OS for these models to date. These OS’ can be installed on any Bold 9700 or Curve 9300 (as long as you remove the vendor.xml file). Follow the links below to download.

Wind Mobile launches BlackBerry Bold 9780

It’s a great day for Wind Mobile customers. Wind has announced the launch of the BlackBerry Bold 9780, featuring the BlackBerry 6 OS. The Bold 9780 replaces their existing Bold 9700 by bringing more RAM and a 5.0 megapixel camera. Wind now offers the Bold 9780 for $450 of course with no contract, and is only available in black. Case-Mate launches Pop Case for BlackBerry Bold 9700 & Curve 3G

If you’ve got a BlackBerry Bold 9700 or Curve 3G (or Curve 85xx) then you know the selection of cases on the market is huge. Case-Mate recently unveiled their Pop Case a new lightweight formed fitted case made of plastic and soft rubber materials. Official: OS 6.0.0.380 for BlackBerry Bold 9700

I know a lot of the news today has been focused around the BlackBerry PlayBook (and yes there is a ton more coming), but that won’t stop us from non-PlayBook news as well. It appears the first official release of OS 6.0 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is here. Vodafone Essar has just released OS 6.0.0.380 for the Bold 9700 as an official release. This means Vodafone Essar (and pretty much anyone else with a Bold 9700) can now officially enjoy some BlackBerry 6 love. We don’t expect this to be the only official OS 6.0 release for the Bold 9700 this month, so stay tuned for those. Meanwhile if you won’t to grab yourself a copy of the new Bold 9700 OS follow the link below and install it — Just don’t forget to remove the vendor.xml file to install it on non Vodafone Essar handsets.

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 has still yet to be officially upgraded to BlackBerry 6 OS, but the good news is a new leak has arrived for the Bold 9700.
