That’s right! Get your hands on it before it disappears. Berry Review’s Ninjas seem to have found copies of RIM’s unreleased OS 4.5.0.77 for both the CDMA BlackBerry 8830 and Curve 8330. Apparently this version of the OS fixes the small delay of answering voice calls noticed in 4.5.0.66.
Here are the download links (they may stop working soon):
* Please note while these OS verisons are not officially supported by RIM. We don’t recommend installing them if you have never installed a beta OS before. Neither Us, Berry Review nor RIM take any responsibility to damage caused to your phone while installing this software.
Remember BlackBerry Made Simple? We briefly talked about them earlier this year. One of the most popular sites for cell phone parts CNN.CN has posted videos on how to take apart your BlackBerry smartphone. They offer videos on how to disassemble and assemble your BlackBerry 8100, 8300, 8700 and 8800. While we don’t recommend taking apart your BlackBerry if you need too this is a great guide!
That’s right Verizon has dropped all prices on their BlackBerry smartphones. Prices now range from $79.99 to $149.99 with two contracts. So that means now you can get a BlackBerry Pearl 8130 for $79.99, Curve 8330 for $99.99 or 8830 World Edition for $149.99. So either Verizon just wants to push out more BlackBerry devices or they are making room for some new CDMA stuff? Like the dreamy BlackBerry Thunder.
Speaking of launches and Verizon they recently launched their Visual Voicemail service. If you remember we talked about the Visual Voicemail launch and how the Thunder would launch shortly after. If you don’t remember check out that post here.
If you have recently installed RIM’s new operating system version 4.5 on your BlackBerry, then its time to customize it! Our good friends over at eVeek have designed three new hot themes for you. What’s the best part about these themes? They are free!

This theme is complete with bouncing icons on a unique home screen menu. You can grab this theme for free for 8100/8300/8700/8800 series smartphones. Here are the OTA (Over the Air) links to download the theme: Pearl 81xx | Curve 83xx | 87xx | 88xx.
Rumor on the street is that RIM will be re-modeling the upcoming Kickstart and Seawolf models. Originally the BlackBerry Kickstart was thought to be modeled BlackBerry 9100, but now apparently it will be 8220. BlackBerry Seawolf was supposed to be the 9110 and now it looks like it'll be called 8210.
Not only that but BlackBerry Javelin may be modeled 8301 instead of 9300. This would make Javelin the next in the Curve sereis (8300 series).
Rogers this morning released the Wi-Fi equipped BlackBerry 8820. This is the second BlackBerry packing Wi-Fi to go along with their UMA service. The BlackBerry 8820 is be rocking a crazy price tag of $399 with three year term or $499 outright. The 8820 will be available in most stores and online early next week.
The folks over at BerryReview just pointed this hot new theme out. It's similar to the Bold theme only in an extended "L" version. The "U" theme features 15 shortcut icons right on your main display. It's a free theme and can be downloaded OTA here.
