The IDC has announced their list of top 10 selling smartphones for Q4 2009. Guess what is number one? BlackBerry, of course. RIM took 5 of the 10 available spots in top selling smartphones to include BlackBerry Curve, Pearl, Bold, Storm, and Tour. I’m really excited over this one. According to BlackBerrySites.com, tomorrow pocket BLU will be available for BlackBerry smartphones. pocket BLU is by Deluxe Digital Studios, but BlackBerrySites noted that they received news from Universal Studios Home Entertainment about the pocket BLU and the app will be released and available for select BlackBerry devices and coinciding with availability of Couples Retreat.

Thanks to Josh, who alerted us that DriveSafe.ly has been updated to v1.13.3 and is now available in BlackBerry App World or the DriveSafe.ly website. We also have DriveSafe.ly in the BlackBerry Sync Store but not in the updated version yet. DriveSafe.ly prevents texting while driving by reading them out loud to you.
