OS Alert: Official BlackBerry Bold OS 4.6.0.244 Now Available!!

Great news for BlackBerry Bold users! A1 in Austria has just officially released OS 4.6.0.244 for the BlackBerry Bold 9000. Anyone with a Bold can install this OS for their device all you have to do is simply remove the vendor.xml file (details here). Before installing please make sure you know what your doing and create a backup. To download OS 4.6.0.244 visit A1’s OS download page here.

Let’s start off this Monday morning with yet another OS leak this time for the BlackBerry Bold. Anyone with a Bold can now un-officially upgrade their OS to either 4.6.0.244 or 4.6.0.245. It’s recommend you download it fast as the links never seem to last too long. Sprint has finally launched a new OS for the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition. The 8830 is now upgradable officially to OS 4.5.0.135 directly from the Sprint Download Page. Don’t forget you don’t have to have a Sprint 8830 to use this software so if you have a Verizon, TELUS or Bell 8830 feel free to use it as well. If you need help on installing a OS click here.

Today a new BlackBerry Bold OS 4.6.0.237 has been leaked online.  It’s not recommended you install this OS if you haven’t installed a beta OS before. Just keep in mind this OS has not been officially released yet. We recommend if you do proceed with the install that you do a complete backup f your device before installing it. Just a few days after OS 4.7.0.109 was leaked for the Storm 9500 it has now become available for the 9530. This new OS is an actual RIM beta copy and not a Hybrid (mix of 9500 software for the 9530). As always with any new beta OS we warn you to do a backup before installing and only install this if you know what your doing.
