Colorware meets the BlackBerry Bold

Right after we showed you the red colored BlackBerry Bold we we’re told that Colorware PC is now doing custom BlackBerry Bold 9000’s. At first we didn’t think custom BlackBerry Bold colors we’re such a great idea but after checking out some of the options (such as our BBSync colors) it might just be a good idea! Imagine submerging your BlackBerry in water and using it!

Can you imagine not ever having to worry about dropping your BlackBerry is a bucket of water? A new upcoming product called “Golden Shellback” will be the first to use a special technology designed by Marine experts. The Golden Shellback is a non-conductive polymer which your whole device gets coated in (inside and outside) allowing it to be resistant to water, dirt, dust, oil, etc. Don’t believe us? This technology won’t be available for a few more months, but when it does become available you can expect it will retail for around $50 to $75 USD depending on the device. The only draw back to this is in order to have it done you will have to send it to the company. Otterbox helps fight breast cancer with pink iPhone and Nano cases

Seems we missed a posting a story provided by our friends over at OtterBox. OtterBox is supporting the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade by donating 10% of every pink iPhone or iPod nano case purchased. Unfortunantly they don't have any pink Otterbox cases for the BlackBerry at this time but if you own a iPhone or iPod nano its a great cause. You can find the details out here.

New BlackBerry headphones coming, along with other accessories

Finally! It's about time RIM started offering new headphones for their BlackBerry smartphones. BBcool is reporting that RIM will be introducing several new accessories this summer including a new style of wired headsets and stereo headphones.

The new headphones will deliver premium sounding audio and will feature inline media controls. Not only that but they will include three color inserts and a carrying case. These would go great with a BlackBerry Thunder if it ever arrives… Look for these new headsets at ShopBlackBerry.com sometime this summer.
