Wikitude World Browser Updated to v6.3.4 for OS 7 Devices
First Wikitude by Wikitude GmbH, became available for OS 6 Devices, and now it has been updated for the OS 7 devices. First Wikitude became available for OS 6 devices, but just know that AR is not supported in the app because OS 6 devices lack the compass needed. But it still works great and is fun to see what’s going on around you. Then they updated their app for OS 7 devices. There isn’t a changelog available but I have noticed that I don’t need to calibrate my compass as often while in the app.
Details of the app are as follows:
- Find events, tweets, Wikipedia articles, ATMs, restaurants, user reviews and much more around you
- Interact with your BBM contacts and discover new BBM users around you as you have never done before.
- Experience places near you in augmented reality or show them on a map or list view
- ?Browse more than 150 million places and interactive content from more than 1,000 content providers or so called “Worlds”
- ?Explore and identify places and objects near by
- Search for specific places, for example “thai restaurant”
- Find mobile coupons and discounts for stores and shops near you
