Update: BBM v6.0.1.25 Available in BlackBerry Beta Zone for OS 5 and OS 6

The latest version of BlackBerry Messenger v6 was released in the BlackBerry Beta Zone today with the caution of downloading for OS 5 and OS 6 only at this time. The previous version is available for OS 7. What’s new in this latest update? Bug fixes in platform such as avatar changes in Bridge and enabled a ‘Third Party Application’ discovery system message.

If you haven’t signed up for the BlackBerry Beta Zone, no time is better than now. You register, fill out your profile and sign up for eligible beta programs for free. Give your feedback, fill out surveys, and help shape the apps in the tweaking.

If you are participating in the BlackBerry Beta Zone, be sure to update your BBM if you are participating in the beta and have OS 5 or OS 6.

    How the heck do you update your own native app. and not make it available for the latest sofware (OS7)???

    There’s the previous OS 6 beta but apparently there are a few issues with OS7 and the latest bbm beta so its recommended not to install this version.
