The BlackBerry 9980 “Knight” – Porsche Inspired BlackBerry 7 Smartphone?

Okay so we’ve been very leery to post about this device, until now. At first we thought this device was simply a chinese knockoff, but new details just keep pouring in about this device, including high-resolution photos and a video. So here’s what we know thus far. This BlackBerry is being code-named Knight, its internal model is R47, public model number is the 9980, and it has a fugly very interesting design. Apparently IF this device hits the market, it won’t be found in the average cell phone store. RIM could be working with Porsche to design this BlackBerry smartphone, and much of its design is inspired by Porsche. It’s also safe to say that this device is NOT a QNX-powered device, and certaintly doesn’t look what I imagine a BlackBerry Superphone to look like.
