Dead Space was an XBox and Play Station game. EA has brought it to the BlackBerry PlayBook and gamers should be impressed. The graphics and sounds are so good it’s going to draw you into it’s world. I don’t play video games, but I decided to put it to the real test and put it in the hands of a gamer. Check it out…
Dead Space by Electronics Arts Inc. is available in the BlackBerry App World for only $9.99. The description from BlackBerry App World is as follows:
This stunning vision of the Dead Space franchise reproduces the cinematic horror of the console game with rich effects and atmospheric lighting. Experience the hardcore gameplay as you struggle to survive the Necromorph onslaught in 6 varied environments. Access the Plasma Saw and Core Extractor, plus 3 more weapons from the Dead Space universe – then get on with the business of strategic dismemberment!
This is the feedback I’ve received:
Graphics are a definite 10. Game play and mechanics are smooth. No bugs or any glitches. Overall the game is a ten experience even though the game is used with controllers on an XBox or Play Station. He stated one of the challenges because instead of the controllers you’d be using on a console, you’re using the sides of the screen. The melee was another challenge and is a swipe downwards on the left hand side of the screen. Tap your weapon to reload and double tap your character for quick turnaround. The game altogether deserves a ten and it’s even better than the Need For Speed.
So if you like Dead Space or want to experience a game that will bring out the extreme gaming capability of the BlackBerry PlayBook, you need to check this game out. Dead Space will bring you into its world. By the way, the only drawback for the game was trying to get my BlackBerry PlayBook back because the game was that intense. If you share your PlayBook with friends to game, you may have to wait a while…a long while.
