Canada gears up for BlackBerry 7 Smartphones – Launches Start August 10th

By know you have heard that some Rogers locations in Canada already have the BlackBerry Bold 9900 in stock, and have been selling them to the public. Well we thought we would round up all the Canadian launch dates as set by the carriers themselves. According to Bell, they plan to launch the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Torch 9810 on August 16th, and the Torch 9860 will follow on August 22nd. Next up is Rogers, they announced via Twitter that the BlackBerry Bold 9900 will go on sale (today) August 10th, the Torch 9810 on August 12th, and no exact date was available for the Torch 9860. Then MobileSyrup confirmed with Telus that they plan to launch the Bold 9900 and Torch 9810 this Friday (August 12th) and the Torch 9860 will be coming soon.

As for the pricing… Only Rogers has set pricing for all three devices, and it isn’t too great. You can check it out below:
