RIM Releases It’s Own Official Avatar Builder Girls And Guys Edition In BlackBerry App World

There’s been a few different avatar builders out there. The Black Eyed Peas released one on FaceBook which is an 8 bit Avatar you can customize and even Jingu For BlackBerry, but now RIM has released their own official version. Check it out…

Today RIM released it’s own versions which are free in the BlackBerry App World. Using the app is quite easy and lets you create an app as close to you as can be. You can pick the skin color, hair, eyes, eyebrows, lips, shirt, pants or shorts (or skirts for the girls), and even decide what accessories you need from your BlackBerry device of choice to the bling and accessories you need on the go. Then choose your background and you’re good to go. You can make changes and edit your avatar, and share the Avatar Builder. There’s even a place for you to sign up for BlackBerry Updates.

It’s pretty similar to building an avatar on Yahoo, and it’s right on your device. You can save the pic and use it for every social network from BBM to Twitter and Foursquare! And it’s free! If you love avatars and love your BlackBerry, check it out.
