Stars is a no-frills app for the BlackBerry PlayBook. It’s easy to use, easy to set up, and after you set it up, there’s no need for an internet connection. The app is free in the BlackBerry App World, check it out…

The app is like the star wheels that you used to buy in planetariums. It’s easy to set up, and you can place your zip code into the app and it sets the map accurately in the sky (so don’t worry about the GPS). The directions on how to use the sky map is included and also information about the app. I’ve included some photos on how easy it is to use. It was one of the first apps I downloaded on my BlackBerry PlayBook out of curiosity  because I love star gazing and knowing where to look for constellations and planets. The app is in beta, but I’m looking forward to enhancements and updates to come.
