Native Email, Contacts, and Calendar App for PlayBook Previewed
The BlackBerry World conference officially kicked off today. While most of the announcements were made yesterday, RIM did take time today to show off some improvement new features. One of the biggest things we’ve been waiting to see is the native email, contacts, and calendar applications for the PlayBook. While BlackBerry Bridge is cool and all, its not amazing. The native apps for the PlayBook are expected to launch later this summer — I’m personally hoping that “later this summer” will be like Facebook for PlayBook’s “later this month” and launch sooner than expected. Check out some more pics below..

RIM plans to make the native email, contacts, and calendar apps available later this summer, along with tasks and memopad, without having to bridge.
