RIM rollouts BlackBerry Tablet OS 1.0.1.1690
The BlackBerry PlayBook is getting so close you can almost touch it. Apparently RIM snuck out a quick OS update today for the BlackBerry PlayBook. This updates the tablet to OS 1.0.1.1690 which is said to bring minor enhancements. So most likely you will be prompted to update to this version when you get your hands on the PlayBook early tomorrow! Sadly it doesn’t appear this OS update brought the BBM Video chat that everyone is dying for, but we have a feeling it won’t be too far behind.
